Site24x7 CloudSpend Product Roadmap 2022
Cloud use and costs have increased gradually as many SMBs and enterprises have embarked on the digital transformation necessary in the post COVID-19 era. Companies of all sizes find it difficult to keep a check on cloud costs, as wider adoption happens across the organization. Those trying to adapt to a multi-cloud vendor approach to obtain the best quote from each vendor have made cost control even harder. In 2021, we concentrated a lot on fine-tuning CloudSpend. We made in-depth searches easier,

Extreme Networks VSP7400 note recognising interfaces or reporting CPU & Power in the readily available template
Hi, Just wondering if anyone has any experience with adding Extreme Networks switches to 24x7. Some I have had no issue, EXOS and VSP based switches. One model I am having an issue is with the VSP7400. There is a template available for this, but on discovery no interfaces are detected. The template also looks like it comes with OID's configured for CPU, power supplies, memory usage, but none seem to work. The switch is recognised, shows up and run this tool also: support.site24x7.com/portal/en/kb/articles/to-check-the-snmp-reachability-using-mib-browser

Feature Request: StatusIQ - MTTR and MTBF
Dear statusiq team, in the component status history overview the column "uptime" is visible. Unfortunately only for one week. I asked already many times to show also uptime for months/years. Third-party webhook support for StatusIQ
We want to integrate third-party Webhook when we create, update and share Postmortem for an incident in StatusIQ. This is a very important feature to plug into our internal tool.
Notify your Email Subscribers - Need more options
StatusIQ email subscriber notification on schedule-maintenance is limited today for "advanced" notifications. Current option to notify in advance is just 1 hours or 24 hours or time of scheduling, which is too limiting when we work across geos. Is it possible to add couple flexible notification options for notify X hours & Notify Y days in advance, so we can choose say 48 hours & 7 days, etc, to notify sooner than current options. www.site24x7.com/help/statuspage/incident-communication/schedule-maintenance.html

How to monitor the nproc limit?
Hi Team, I have a server running Oracle WCS and have set "nproc" limits in /etc/security/limits.d/20-nproc.conf. So, my question is how do I monitor the nproc limits? How do I make sure that the process should not fall under a certain limit If that happens how do we set a threshold and send email alerts? In other words, how to handle the monitoring and be alerted when you close the fixed limit? Thanks in advance!! Thanks, Swapnil Pawar

How to Diagnose Why Your Linux Server Crashed?
Although Linux servers are known to be reliable, occasionally computers fail. While an occasional system crash might not seem like much, in an enterprise setting, accurately diagnosing the cause of system failures is a must because a system failure can be an indicator of significant underlying software or hardware problems. While troubleshooting can be a difficult task, by using the tools mentioned in this guide, you can ensure that you are able to tackle even the toughest challenges. Since every
New sub-domain name for Site24x7 StatusIQ and status page URLs
As you might be aware, Signals, Site24x7's product for public status pages, was renamed StatusIQ in 2021. While we continued to use the domain site24x7signals.com to accept traffic, we moved to our new domain, site24x7statusiq.com, on January 31, 2022. As part of this sub-domain name change, we plan to update the status page URLs hosted on our sub-domains from site24x7signals.com to site24x7statusiq.com. All the requests received for <statuspagename>.site24x7signals.com will be redirected to the
Monitor Windows Firewall state
Hi team, Do we have any way to monitor the Windows Firewall state for Windows Server? We already have an agent installed on the server. We want an alert if Windows Firewall is disabled on any server. I tried doing an Event Log resource check when the Firewall state changes, but it puts the server in trouble for 5 minutes and in next poll, server is back into Up state. Regards, Sandeep H.

Time between requests
We currently have a REST API transaction in which the first request is to send a message and the second to check its status. I need time between both, as the status can take a while to change. This has sent me several alerts. As an alternative I am making other calls between them, but it does not help me much and is not the best solution. I'm waiting

Receive real-time alarms (API)
Hello, my name is Lucas Silva. I'm currently working on an integration with the Site24x7 API and I was told that there is no way to make a request to get the alarms in real time. I think this is a really useful functionality, and when it comes to a means of monitoring, for an integration, it is extremely important to be able to catch these errors in real time, since being able to only catch a history of errors, there can be some disagreement information from one moment to another, which can generate

Introducing Derived Field Support
Greetings! We are introducing support for derived fields in Site24x7 AppLogs. This feature enables you to create custom parsing rules for log fields that help you extract valuable information. For example, a log file may contain a treasure trove of information in its message field, which can come in a variety of formats. Here are a few instances of log messages. Syslog messages with a user's email and IP information E.g. Jun 7 09:22:38 10.8.0.36 : %ASA-4-722051: Group <GroupPolicyVPNCert> User <demo123@gmail.com>

To add outage reason column in outage details
In outage details we can get monitor name, duration, start and end time details. In that additionally outage reason also available means will be useful to analyze outage reports for what we got down alert. In "edit comments" we can see the actual error what site24x7 getting but each outages we cannot check in that way.For that we need additional column for outage reason.
Tags for outages with reporting
Please add the ability to tag outages. Today there is only an option to mark outage as a maintanence and add comment. We are missing the ability to differentiate outages that were caused by application failures (bugs, deployment failures, ...) from outages caused by infrastructe failures (server failures, webserver missconfiguration, ...). Based on tags we would like to report uptime that include / exclude some of the outages types base on tags, for example the uptime without application failures.
