Ability to have Site24x7 monitor whether a .csv file is generated in specific folder, by a certain time
I would like to request a feature which will allow Site24x7 to be used to check for the existence of .csv files (with a specific supplied name or fits in certain naming criteria, preferably) in a specific folders, by a certain time. If the file is not present by configured time, then notification should be sent which will alert this condition being present. This feature would greatly impact the value of Site24x7 to my organization. Thank you!
Ability to pull Names instead of only IDs from API
When using the API, the only options to get some information out is by using IDs which is not user-friendly. When exporting data from the GUI the information is populated with the actual names for things and it would be awesome to be able to get those via the API. Docker Names
Currently, the Docker name is based on an FQDN. These FQDN are auto-generated by AWS. Resulting in no way to determine what containers are in a Docker without drilling down to see into a Docker. 1) So I suggest having the Docker name based on EC2 name with the word Docker in front. Then have the FQDN under this name. This naming convention would mirror the way ECS instances are named in 24x7 2) We also need to have a disk utilization metric for Dockers inside the containers so an alert can be generated.
Add inventory fields to create inventory Report
Hi. We requiere to create an inventory report of all our servers. Basically a list with all our servers and the following fields: OS (Operating System), Disk Space Installed (This is the one field i have not found on site24x7 but it must be there), Ram Installed (Installed Memory), CPUs Installed (Number of CPU Cores(Logical) x Processor) For some reason this fields are not available on custom reports. Can you include them?
Making Site24x7 more in line with DevOps
As more companies move toward CI/CD there is the point of automating the monitoring process by putting the process of adding, updating and removing monitors and maintenance windows into the automation process. Would be nice if Site24x7 revamped the API/Automation process to follow the tools people are using for automation like Chef, Puppet or Spinnaker (www.spinnaker.io/ is what we are moving to).
FTP Test: User Specified File in Directory
Currently the Site24x7 FTP tests relies on their specific test file, some systems are setup to purge unspecified files or filetypes preventing this option from working (or worse, requiring a degradation of security to facilitate). That ability to specify a specific file known to be present in the directory would bypass this issue and maintain security.
Synthetic Monitor with PopUp window or New Tab
When dealing with Synthetic monitoring for services that have a step where either a new window or tab is involved after an action is taken the monitor fails to record the resulting new page. Would be nice to have the recorder be able to handle this type of scenario since this is possible with Selenium which the recorder is based on... Is it possible to retain the "Log Report" for every poll for one year not just one month?
I found that we can only view the Log report for the last one month. Currently, the retain policy of the data is "RAW data for every poll (based on your configured check frequency) will be stored Only for the last one month". While “Audit Logs” and “Alert Logs” can be shown the data from the day of monitor creation(or one year). Do you consider to show 1 year for “Log Report” and add it to your product roadmap? Retainment of the Log Report only for the last one month seems too short.
Specific service and/or attribute maintenance
In our environment we have a group of servers where we schedule a service to restart daily at a specific time. We would like the ability to put a specific service and/or any monitor attribute into maintenance instead of the entire server. Multiple Notification Profiles, multiple Alert Groups, and Alert Schedules
It would be great to have two different notification profiles for a monitor, and the ability to tie those alerts to different alert groups, severity or custom schedules. For my first example, I may have a web server. I would like to receive an email notification if a monitor is unable to get to the site on the first attempt. Security Feature Request: Default User Role For New Users Should NOT Be Super Admin
Hello, We create a lot of users in Site24x7. The default User Role for new users is Super Admin. Because of this, we have inadvertently provided users with Super Admin privileges in the past due to this default setting. From a security perspective, the default User Role setting for all new users should probably be something like Alert Contact (No access to web client) rather than Super Admin. This would follow something similar to the principle of least privilege (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Principle_of_least_privilege%29.

Enhance Tag Bulk Association
I would like to see the Associate Tags Bulk Action Wizard include the ability to pick from Monitor Groups in the same way that the Modify Threshold Profile Bulk Action Wizard allows this selection. I would also like to see Tags be an option in all of the areas where you can choose from monitors or monitor groups.
Allow for Add/Replace Option in Bulk Tag Association
It would be nice to have a radio button selection for Add or Replace tags in the bulk association wizard. Today the bulk wizard replaces any tags on the monitors that may exist with the ones added from the bulk association wizard. This means that monitors with disparate tags cannot be updated via the wizard. For example, if I have two monitors where one has a tag called "Production" and the other has a tag called "Development" and I use the bulk wizard to try and add a tag called "Windows Servers"
Microsoft DFS replication
We would find an out of the box monitoring solution for Microsoft DFS very helpful. wmic /namespace:\\root\microsoftdfs path dfsrreplicatedfolderinfo get replicationgroupname, replicatedfoldername, state We need to alert on particular states. Im not sure if this would be possible, but it would also be very helpful to produce reports on the bandwidth used and the sync delay
Threshold Profile Modification Triggers A Recheck
Hello, Recently we changed a Threshold Profile setting to generate a trouble alert if a resource check fails and found that any resource checks that were already in a failed state did not trigger the alert after the threshold modification. It would be nice if a recheck was done on the affected monitors after a threshold modification to trigger an alert if the check is already in a failed state instead of having to wait for the status of the check to change.

I am quite impressed about the feature set of Site24x7, unfortunately UDP testing is missing badly, which is mandatory for us. Are there any plans to add those in the near future?

FR - Workstations
We have a few workstations that we must monitor. I would be nice to be able to monitor these in their own category and choose not to get alerts on them. It would also be nice if this wouldn't count against the server monitor count or count as half. The OPP is an option but we need to get statistics from these machines to help troubleshoot application in remote offices. We also have workstation OS's running as servers which we do count these as "Servers". Thanks Eric

Report for Monitors in Suspend Status
Would it be possible to have a report of devices in Suspend mode on a rotating schedule, say on a weekly schedule. We are looking at doing auditing of our monitoring tools and this is a big one for us.
Additional monitor status based on number of down locations if less than down count
Currently, we only have the ability to set a monitor as down from x number of locations. Like if a monitor is down from 3 locations, consider it down. It would be awesome to have an option where we could set trouble if down from less than the down setting so we can troubleshoot if we can't get to a monitor from some locations only. We don't want to hand down a monitor if less than 3 locations but we still want to know if we can't get to it from any location. * Make the alerts go to the admins set
Version Controlled Monitors

Scheduled Maintenance for "Last" Day of a Month
Some months have more than 4 weekends. We patch on the last Sunday of the month - sometimes that's the 5th Sunday. Currently, there's no way to include this last Sunday, as the option is only for 4th days.

The web page speed (browser) monitors occasionally have suspect values like negative page load times or times longer than the timeouts. There should be a function for users to filter out such outliers.
Root Cause Analysis for the Monitor
when a server goes down and the comes back up I like the "Root Cause Analysis for the Monitor" email but could some work go into it so that the "Down Reason" is more useful. I have noticed on when a server is rebooted the down reason was "Site24x7WindowsAgent could not establish communication with the Server". Would it be possible for this root cause option could check the server out to see what's happened (including the event log) to see why it was off?
Percentile Averages
Please add percentile averages in graphs and widgets, so I can quickly view 95th and 99th percentile latency values for my monitors. Percentiles avoid skewing averages by omitting outlier values from the data, and are used heavily in the industry for latency SLAs. It may be worthwhile to add these values to reports as well.

Resource Process/Service Templates
Hi Team, We are a Managed Services Provider. As we have to manage many of the same types of servers for different customers.
