How to mark a monitor outage as UP after a scheduled maintenance window?
The polling mechanism of a monitor, pause during a
scheduled maintenance window and it causes the monitor to be in a
down status during this window. The maintenance period affects the overall availability, which is then reflected in the availability report. To avoid this scenario, you can customize your availability reports to treat monitors as "
UP" during the maintenance period.
Click here to know how. Even if you haven't customized this action prior to a maintenance, you can perform the same even after the maintenance period has ended. Simply follow the steps below:
- Login to Site24x7.
- Navigate to the monitor summary dashboard of your desired monitor.
- Click More > Outages and Alerts.
- Click on the Hamburger icon, select Mark as Maintenance.
