StatusIQ subscribers not receiving emails

StatusIQ subscribers not receiving emails

Why do subscribers not receive email notifications from StatusIQ?

Email notifications are often missed because the domain names or domain IPs from which the emails are sent have not been allowlisted. Whereas IP allowlisting requires frequent updates, a smarter solution is to allowlist the domain name. This ensures that the hostname dynamically resolves to current IPs. Allowlisting domain names is highly recommended to avoid the need to manage a wide range of IP addresses.
Allowlist the following email sending domains:
  1. mail.site24x7.com
  2. mails.site24x7sp.com
  3. zeptomail.net

Also, add the following email addresses to your email address book:
  1. noreply@site24x7.com
  2. no-reply@mails.site24x7sp.com
Each of the domains and email addresses above has different extensions in different data centers (DCs):

How to allowlist an IP address manually

The steps for manually allowlisting an IP address vary based on your OS. Below is a sample procedure for Windows:
  1. Open the Start menu and search for Windows Defender Firewall.
  2. In the Windows Defender Firewall window, click Advanced settings on the left pane.
  3. In the Advanced Security window, select Inbound Rules from the left pane, then click New Rule on the right pane.
  4. Select Custom as the rule type and click Next.
  5. In the next step, select Scope from the left pane.
  6. Under Which remote IP addresses does this rule apply to?, select These IP addresses. Click Add, enter the IP address you want to allowlist, and click OK.
  7. Click Next, select Allow the connection, and click Next again.
  8. Choose the network types (Domain, Private, or Public) to which this rule applies, then click Next.
  9. Provide a name and optional description for your new rule, then click Finish.
