Custom alert name
Hi, I would to add custom alert name for the alerts. By default site24x7 is having a CRITICAL, DOWN, TROUBLE, UP, SUSPENDED etc. Along with this I wanted to add my custom alert called LOOKUP, DANGER. Is this possible to add? Thank you.
Auto Upgrade and Bulk Upgrade Not Working
I noticed that all are Windows monitors are mixed between version 19.9.0 and 19.9.5. Our settings is to auto upgrade when the newest versions are released. At this time the newest Windows version is 20.0.3. The same issue applies to our Linux servers as well. The version is 18.0.0 while the newest one is 18.1.0. When trying to bulk upgrade, all the servers are greyed out. If I remove the option to auto upgrade and go directly to a server, there's no option to upgrade. Other than upgrading over 1500

How to get the link list in summary of Defacement monitor through API
Hi, in defacement monitor, when I click "summary" on my defacement monitor in site24x7 page, I can see a list of links. And each link will showcase its defacement status, link page kb, ... etc. Now, I try to retrieve defacement monitor's "link list data" above-mentioned, but it only feedbacks me a dictionary indicating the defacement monitor's own general summary data but without its further link list data. Publish Report - Network - Resources Report - Does not work
I am attempting to create a report that I can publish that shows utilization metrics for network interfaces. The options are available in the publish report. When I attempt to publish this report it simple says it is an invalid selection. The exact error is Invalid value passed for Report Type If its an invalid option then why have it listed? I would much prefer it would work because this is the data I need.
On-Premise Poller version 5.0.0 network module is not working

AWS Security Groups Whitelisting
Hi currently I'm adding the IP's manually to security groups in AWS to monitor the status of specific servers behind our firewall and loadbalancer and well the whitelist seems to get longer and longer. Does anyone know how to add the domain site24x7.enduserexp.com to a security group in AWS so I don't have to manually add new IP's when new locations are spun up or remove locations when one is retired? I can't seem to find a way to do it. Any help appreciated!

VMWare VM Monitor vs Server Monitor?
Hello I use Site 24x7 to monitor my VMWare environment and servers. Can you tell me – do I need to monitor BOTH the “VMWare VM’ and the “Server Monitor” for my vmware hosted Windows Servers, or is just running “Server Monitor” Sufficient? I ask because then I burn up two licenses for each windows server. Is there a difference between the two? Is one better than the other and do I need both? Or is just Server Monitor sufficient? Thanks

Setting up a monitor with web token gives a configuration error
I have sucessfully set up a web token from `configuration profile`. I can see the received token also. But when I try to use this token when creating a monitor i am getting a configuration error. The error says The `request requires user authentication`. The monitor is a GET request. I just selected the web token name from the Authentication method. Do I have to do something else to fix this issue?
Windows Monitored Service Still Alerts After Being Deleted
Hi everyone, I have a case where a monitored service continues to alert, even when it is no longer being monitored. Additionally, it continues to alert when down, even if the service is running. After it has been deleted from being monitored, the alert looks like this, with the path and arugments becoming NA. Hi, I want to know if I am able to setup some automat action for a poller. There is an option from site24x7 server, "IT automation template", can we setup a same thing to a poller? Additional User Role Options
Hello, Would it be possible to add the ability to give the Admin User Role but only to specific Monitor Groups. We have multiple teams using the console but would like the ability effectively split it so members of one team cannot see/edit other teams monitors. We currently have given the operator role but that does not let them edit/assign thresholds etc. Alternatively if we could create a custom role and set specific permission levels that would also work.

Hi Team, I do not see any options for Admin Role to Specific Monitor Group. There should be option to have a Group Admin Role to help organization control the respective monitor inventory. Ex- There is a network group and Server Group in a org, There should be option to have a Admin for Network and Server respectively.
Server 2008 - TLS Connectivity Issue
Hello - Over the last week or so, I've noticed that a number of my Windows 2008 servers have started displaying alarms for "could not establish communication with the Server". Hello, I don't get the dependency working as it should. We have for example a monitor for our internet-line, and we have a monitor for the switch. I want to make the switch-monitor dependent of the internet-line-monitor, so i fill in the field 'dependent on monitor' in the switch-monitor, pointing to the internet-line-monitor. When the internet line goes down, i only expect an alert for that line then. But i still get both alerts, for the line and for the switch. How can i prevent getting the alerts
How to generate alerts for misconfigured SSL certificates
Hello, Apologies if this was asked or explained elsewhere. I'd like to provision a monitor to catch SSL misconfigurations, but didn't get the expected behavior from the SSL certificate monitor. Specifically, this condition didn't trigger an alert. Threshold Notifications on StatusIQ status page
I have setup a threshold for one of my monitors that if the website takes too long to load it should show in a degraded state. It shows up in the dashboard as degraded, however the monitor on the StatusIQ Status Page that we send our customers to shows it as Healthy. I would like it to show Degraded on the Status Page. How can I get it to display correctly? My StatusIQ status page was imported from the original Site24x7 Status Page where we originally set it up.

Need notification or an easy way to know when a new monitor was added
Hi, One area in need of improvement is tracking when a new monitor was added due to auto-discovery. As far as I know the only way to know that new monitors were added is to try and read through the audit log. The filter option is a global search so if you search for Created you may end up with items in the list that have a tag with the keyword. Ideas for improvement: 1. Azure VM monitor / Azure Server monitor V.S. AWS
Hi, I was wondering why there are separate monitor types for monitoring VMs in Azure. It is confusing and adds significant cost to have both. When I look at AWS the EC2 instance monitor includes the server metrics as an additional tab. Why has this not been done for Azure and are there plans to fix this? I also see that the EC2 monitors have quite a bit more detail on configuration than the Azure monitors.
