How to disable only CPU monitoring at specific time, for specific host (every day)
Hello there! We have a hundreds of different company hosts and services, and need to disable some specific alerts(like CPU, or MEM or DISK), that as know as false-positive alerts. This is one real host example, but we have more than one hundred, that need to customizable like it, to prevent specific false-positive alerts. The server is turned on, and after 30 minutoes, Antivirus scan all files and make CPU high, but applications hosted in this server, is working fine and we do not need this CPU alerts

The performance of a server is very important, but data loss is a priority. We use many HP servers and it would be very useful to have a storage monitor to check the internal disk failure. The integrated ILO shows the damaged disks and it would be useful for Site24x7 to query it indicating the degraded raid.

Am I the only one experiencing this? How to add Windows server WebLogic server in monitoring
Hi, We have Window server where we have installed WebLogic and we want to add this WebLogic to site24x7 for monitoring. If I try to add this server for site24x7, it is telling us to install linux plugin, but we have Windows machine. Kindly advise me how to add this WebLogic for monitoring. This is Azure VM and already Azure VMs all are added in server monitoring. Windows agent is installed already.
Push notifications only for specific monitors
I have different notification profiles to alert in different ways depending on the importance of the monitor that fails. For example, non-critical servers are configured to alert me via email only. However... when those fail, the iOS mobile app will sound the alert even at 3AM when I really don't care to be waken up for a non-critical system. Is there a way to customize the mobile app push notifications according to the main website's notification schedules?
Change email address for notifications
Is there a way to change the email address used for email notifications for existing users? If the system that goes down is our own mail server (we manage our own email servers), then we would not be receiving those alert emails being sent to it (it just happened today... didn't think about this when setting up the system. I know we can add new users with a different email email (ex @mac.com), but it would be simpler if we can edit the email for the existing ones. Thanks, Roberto
Limiting number of times automation runs
I was wondering if we could limit the number of times an automated action is run, it reset of IIS/App pools in case of CPU/Memory usage. Don't want it to always be performing the action when breaching the threshold, just the first time time or only in X amount of minutes\hours so that the services isn't always being impacted. anybody knows if this is possible?

HI, I am currently implementing a File content check, the logic is to monitor a certain file with a file name example "timesync.txt". The content of the file is either FAILED or SUCCESS and if the content of the file is SUCCESS it should be displayed in the status as Available and if FAILED it should be unavailable. Linux Server Monitor creates new monitor after reboot buit keeps old down monitor.
On a number of our Ubuntu 18.04 boxes the original monitor does not come back up after a reboot. Instead it creates a brand new monitor after rebooting and keeps the old down monitor. Since all the down monitors still exist our users justifiably think the servers never came back up. Anyone know why this might happen?

Hello, I have a very basic monitor to check the availability of a static web page. Occasionally I will see the page go down in Site24x7 but still be available. Looking at the NGINX logs I see these numerous requests coming from Site24x7 that look like the following: 10.26.41.124 - - [18/Mar/2022:18:04:35 -0700] "G" 400 0 "-" "-" "-" I was wondering if anyone has run across this issue and if so have any tips on debugging the system. Website Monitoring Trouble
Hey All - We have website monitors running for some of our own hosted websites, and have even added monitors for some sites on Wix / Squarespace / Shopify... Any of these locations show as Trouble in Site24x7 from Portland. Is there an issue happening with my primary location showing a high response time (exceeding 100ms). All other locations show as good. Any ideas?

Trying to generate a unique text value for web transaction monitor
Using the set_text_by_id() function to write a text value on an input, I need this value to be "some text" + randomNumber everytime that the monitor runs, but I do not find a way to properly do this. Does anybody knows of a way or has encountered the same trouble?
List all traces API call limited to 1000?
We make use of the www.site24x7.com/help/api/#list-all-traces API to return a full list of traces for a specified day, where the day would be specified as "SD/date" as per www.site24x7.com/help/api/#time_window_constants Last week this API call would often return over 1000 responses. Query - Why does network device availability based on resolved network name and not the device IP Address?
We have come to the conclusion that Site24x7 is using the resolved name of a device rather than ping as the basis of availability. When we have investigated, in some cases we have seen that the device has remained up yet the network device (usually snmp based monitors). We discovered this when we had an outage on a Domain Controller server at exactly the same time of the outages. Is this a known feature? Surely a ping test would be a better option to determine if a device is contactable.

CLOUDFRONT MONITORING IA THRESDHOLD NOT USEFUL
Hi, We tested the AI threshold on Cloudfront for a month and we conclude the anomaly detection is not right for this service. Cloudfront is a CDN service, so in essence, you will always have traffic fluctuation, especially in newspapers or eCommerce sites. 100% of SITE24 Cloudfront monitoring using IA were a false positive since is alerting a change in traffic from 1gb to 2gb for example. It would be very helpful if we could specify during vCenter monitor build to be able to choose discovery options for both vCenter, esxi hosts and datastores. What we are finding is that if you allow discovery of esxi hosts it uses the default settings for the host and auto discovers VMs, datastores, datastore snapshots, resource pools and hardware. We have implemented a configuration rule as suggested to exclude VMs and resource pools from being discovered but there is no option for hardware or datastore
