Can I create an admin user and then limit the number of monitors created by this user? For example, to create a admin user "Tom", then limit the maximum number of monitors which Tom can create is up to 5 at most.
Email notification - 3 days graphical performance and availability report where unit of time = Hours
why the alert notification has graphs with unit of time = hours. it confuse the reader, graph don't have a spike but alert says threshold crossed the defined value. can we change the unit of time from hours to RAW in alert notification

Using API to just show status of website?
Hi folks, I've been going through the API Guide but I'm stuck and I'm hoping someone on here can help. I have a Monitoring Group (I have the ID) that I want to appear on my website to users after they authenticate to my LDAP (along with other information). I'd like to get this info via JSON API. When I do a GET of the Monitoring Group ID, it doesn't actually tell me the status of the individual monitors. Same goes if I poll the individual Monitor IDs. It gives me info about how it's setup, but not
Agent Service Randomly Stop
Is there any known issue that causes the agent service to stop? We have monitors on a few of our servers and just randomly they will stop. Most of the time they will start up on their own, but we are currently unable to really pin point any cause down. On one of our servers currently the monitor shows the server itself as up, but still shows SQL and IIS as down.
Don't let me add a new monitor when I have none left to use.
I'm using 11/10 monitors right now. If I attempt to add another, I'm prompted to type in all the configuration info (including making new groups), and when I attempt to save the new monitor config it alerts me I have no spots left for a new monitor. I wish the system told me I have no spots left before asking me to type in all the configuration settings.
Server Agent on AWS Linux, annoying issues changed API behavior
Hi Site24x7 Team, we discover all of our AWS EC2 automatically, what works fine. Further, we install by automation a Linux Agent on that EC2 machine. Both Monitors are afterwards concluded into one monitor via Server > EC2. So far, so good. Previously, we could during installation add some parameters to the install command in order to get the correct Resource Profile, Configuration Template etc.. Change monitor action through API
The support level of our EC2 instances is defined by a tag on AWS level. We have 4 different actions defined, one for each support level. What we want is change the defined action based on what support tag is added. So I was thinking a Python script that checks all instances, gets the support tags, and then set the actions attached to those monitors through the API. So the question is: can one change the attached action of a monitor through the API, and how?
status page showing blank without login
Hey, we are trying site24x7. it works very well. however ,the status page does not work as expected. We have to login to access the status page via permalink. otherwise the status page will show blank page wihout login. is it by design?
hyper-v counters
Given the continual delay in official hyper-v support, I was wondering if anyone has tried to create something by monitoring important counters? Monitoring them just as servers is of limited value as it only really provides up/down monitoring. I need to see load and performance of the host.
On premise poller service stops
Hi I just installed the On premise poller on a customer machine (Win 7) residing inside the customer network. When starting the OnPremisePoller service i get the Interactive Services Detection message When trying to access this I cant get anything at all. The service then stops after about 10-20 seconds. When looking in Event viewer I see that there is an error here. the same error comes up for the Site24x7 Agent Helper service and the Site24x7 Windows Agent service. These two are however still running.
Agent preventing logout on macOS
Hello, I'm having a problem on macOS Sierra 10.12.2 where the agent will not allow me to logout the user (who is an administrator) without Force Quitting the agent. The agent stays in the dock (which I don't believe it should be), and if I right-click the agent icon it says "Not Responding". The agent does work though! On-Prem Linux poller runs as application not service
This is a feature request: Can we have the on-prem agent run as a service rather then an application. If ever the host is restarted and the application closes, it seems to be quite a pain to get it to start up again in Site24x7. Also for it to work an application has to be running which doesn't seem ideal, especially if the host is being shared with other applications and engineers.

Cannot add more that 10 services to a server monitor?
I am trying to add services to a server monitor. I am unable to add more than 10 windows services or process per server monitor. Is there something I can do to be able to add more than 10? We monitor a lot of services in our environment and if that is a hard limit that would be a problem for us. Any insight would be helpful.

Where can I configure the Poll rate or poll time or delay? I have some servers that really only need to be checked a few times an hour. Thank you
Integrating Onprem Pollers alerts to PagerDuty
Hello Team, We do not have an option to select the onPrem poller at PagerDuty (third party inetgration) page so as to send the alerts integrated with PagerDuty tool. I would request this to be made possible as this would be an essential feature everyone will be looking for. I understand that choosing "All monitors" would make it possible but that is not something which we are looking for- since we do not want us to be spammed for all the alerts. Webhooks API
From your announcements I saw you are now supporting general webhooks as means of notifications. This means we can migrate from (ab)using Actions to using Webhooks. I was rewriting our setup scripts, and wanted to create a third_party_service using the API, the same way we do for Actions. However, when trying to post to 'https://www.site24x7.com/api/third_party_services', I get a Method not allowed. Can we not POST to this API and what is the correct way then to create webhooks using the API? As
polling interval modification
Hi, My company is using Site24x7 for monitoring services. Just chatted with Sushma, and found out there is no way to modify polling interval/frequency for Server (Linux) monitoring. Currently is set by default as 5 minutes which we have urgent requirement for 1 or 2 minutes interval. I was informed that it is not possible to do it, even with my request to try to modify the configuration agent (/opt/site24x7/monagent/conf). Parse JSON response in REST monitor
I would like to check the "grade" my site has been assigned by SSL Labs to be sure it's not failing. (Norton uses this to decide if they should block a website, and mine was recently blocked) The REST API URL and JSON response are at the bottom of this post. What I need to identify is whether I have an "A" or "B" grade versus a "C", "D" or "F" grade. Using the TEXT parser, I can't include quotes, so searching for "A" really isn't allowed. And if I just search for the letter A, that occurs everywhere.
API access using Device Key

Is there a way to see public Status with All Groups?
I have the monitors sorted by groups so it is clearer to end users what servers are providing what functions. I would like to make our public status page display the same. I see you can select a single group but not multiples. Is there a way to do what I am looking for?

Amazon Web Service S3 Buckets confusing or not accurate
I added an "Amazon Web Service" Monitor, and I followed the instructions to add credentials so that site24x7 will have read-only access to my AWS information. I use S3, Cloudfront, Cloudwatch and IAM but the site24x7 monitor only checks EC2, DynamoDB, Load balancer and S3. So at least I can monitor S3. But I don't understand the reported metrics, and I believe they are incorrect. The "Amazon Web Service" Monitor says I have a "bucket size" of 9. What does this mean? Looking at my sole S3 bucket,

I'm trying to create a new SSL certificate monitor. I'm pointing it at a client's website. It has a valid SSL cert that will expire notAfter=Aug 19 23:59:59 2017 GMT.
