Hey, We use clusters on our VMware environment, currently we are able to monitor RP's on a ESXi level, that's good when you don't use host clusters. now we get multiple RP monitors with the same name and different metrics, so we cannot follow the real status of these RP's. our request is to find a way to group them to one monitor object / monitor the RP from the vCenter side instead of directly through the ESXi's. Uptime calculations in Availability Widgets to exclude Maintenance Time
Currently in both the Dashboard Availability Widgets as well as the email based Availability Summary Reports, outages from Maintenance time is counted toward uptime (or so it appears). While this may be accurate from a pure uptime calculation, we need the ability to have the report exclude Maintenance time just like the full Availability Report can do. For customers who use these reports and dashboards to communicate SLA uptime with customers, this lack of accuracy causes significant problems.

Is it possible to modify the data in a variable from the site 24x7 web interface? I have a custom plugin that monitors printer queue size and alerts if any of the printers have more than X jobs in queue. For example, now the value for the queue threshold variable is hardcoded to ''200" in the custom plugin ps1 file. If I want to modify this I must go to each server that uses the plugin and modify them by hand I would like to be able to set this from the web page.

Website Traffic Increase after 24x7 monitor added?
I installed the website monitor on one of my new websites On November 14th. Today, Nov 18th, I noticed a significant increase in website visit visits since Nov 14th. Based on the countries and bounce rate, it seems likely that Site24x7 is responsible for this. But the session duration is throwing me off (+ 1 minute). I would think a monitor would generate a very low session time. I called support, but they didnt understand what I was trying to explain. Thoughts?

Every night, each of our Linux servers gets a notification with the message "Agent service for host is stopped since...". Then, about 10-15 seconds later, we get a notification that it is back up. Why is this happening and what can we do to stop it?

Hello, Currently the Site24x7 App will show a notification, and play a notification noise, if a monitor is down, however, when a phone is on Do Not Disturb mode the notification sound will not be heard. Hi there, I would like to request that you can implement the feature to allow Alerting Period/Window for Email and Slack alerts too. In our case, we are IT support company, and we provide monitoring services for our clients. many of our clients only hired us to monitor their servers overnight; while during the daytime they have their own staff to handle this. In this case it's especially helpful and required so we only receive alerts during time periods we're responsible for.
Monitoring SQL server without agent
How can I monitor an SQL server without installing an agent. Even running a simple query to just verify the server is up and running would be enough for our purpose. We are using a external SQL server from a hosting provider where we do not have access to the OS, so installing the 24x7 agent is not an option.

Getting monitor data using oAuth token in JSONP and/or c# WebClient?
I am doing some work utilizing the API and saw the notice that Site24x7 is migrating to oAuth 2.0. Previously, I was able to successfully fetch monitor data using JSONP (and still can, however this is being deprecated in a few months). Following the documentation, I was able to create a new "Self Client", refresh token, and access token, however I haven't been able to use the new access tokens successfully.
