AWS VPC Peering Monitors
Would like to suggest a new feature for Site24x7 AWS Infrastructure monitoring, which is to capture the list of all VPC Peerings that are configured for different regions. Currently, even with AWS Console, we could only view one region at a time the status of the VPC Peerings. There is no way to capture all the different VPC Peering configuration across different regions in a single AWS account.
Azure - Avoiding Overlapping Monitoring
Hello! We are currently evaluating your product and are looking for tips and possibly a guide to Azure monitoring, in regards to avoiding overlapping monitoring. Currently, we are monitoring via Azure monitor, but there are some aspects that we do not like - specifically the Azure alerts. If we decide to move forward with Site 24x7, what can we turn off in Azure Monitor, so we can ultimately reduce logging and monitoring, but also cost. Any assistance in this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hello community, I hope everyone is very well, I wanted to see if it is possible to view the Applications Manager monitoring on the Site24x7 platform, in my company we already have a 24x7 site integrated with the Applications Manager, but we want to view all our monitoring on a single platform and this would be a 24x7 site. regards

Hi all, I need really urgent a possibility to monitor windows event logs (regarding Covid-19 and Home Office here in Austria) in section: Microsoft-WindowsTerminalServices-Gateway\Operational (Application and Services Logs\Microsoft\Windows\TS Gateway in Windows Event Logs) I found this: www.site24x7.com/help/log-management/add-log-type.html#custom-format but I cannot go further. Dear all, I saw a system with SOPHOS Intercept X Adanvanced EDR License which cannot update the product when Site24x7 Agent is installed and a service check is added to monitor "Sophos Services" in a "Windows Monitor". After deletion of services check in site24x7.com a product update was successfully. Further an uninstalltion and re-installation of the SOPHOS product is not successfull when Site24x7 check SOPHOS services during the uninstallation an re-installation. You need to stop Site24x7 agent
Allow more than 100 characters for adding milestones

On-call escalation workflow
Hi there, we have a team of 10 people, who take a week in turn to be on-call out of hours, so if anything alerts overnight, it?s their turn to react. Is there any way within the site24x7 config, I can configure the notification profiles to be easily, or preferably dynamically changed to the email address of one of the 10 techs, possibly based on a calendar. I?m sure there must be a way of doing this somehow, so would be interested in any ideas of achieving this?. Many thanks in advance.

resource size check on media site
Hi, We have around 50 websites we are currently monitoring with SITE24x7. The problem we are having is we need to monitor FILE SIZE of the webpages. Every site has a home page with around 100 new articles per day. With the PAGE SPEED monitor we can only monitor file sizes for 1 URL (does not follow the new ones) and with the RUM, there is no option to monitor resource sizes. How can we accomplish this? Feature Request for Email Alerting to Use User Schedule
Support, User defined alerting periods work for both SMS and phone call notifications but the email notifications don't. If an alert is triggered and a user is part of the alerting group and has email selected as a notification type, they will get alerted outside of the alerting period (despite what is selected for the user's alerting period). Can this be fixed so all notification types (SMS, Phone calls, Emails) - all obide by the user's designated alerting period? thanks Rob

How to Turn off Redis Monitor
Hi I recently disabled Redis in one of our servers. The monitor on site24x7 shows that the server is down because Redis is no longer running. I tried removing Redis from the following location Admin --> Server Monitor --> configuration template but it still reports that it can't find redis. Is there anywhere else I need to check? The current plugin for rabbitmq does not monitor each queue to allow thresholds at the queue level. Is there another plugging for rabbitmq that will do this.

Hi Team, While download website performance report for individual sites we can get trend report with unit of time like(raw,hour,day,week) but when try with download monitor groups performance report we are getting only average values. We added a url without a user authentication to a website monitor: ourwebsite.azurewebsites.net/api/AvailabilityCheck?code=examplecode== ourwebsite = our subdomain on azurewebsites.net examplecode = unique ID for website we always get an error "the request requires user authentication". Why? Could be the "?code=" or the "==" at the end of the url be a problem to monitor this website? Please help.

Hey guys, Any way to monitor Microsoft SQL Server Certificates for expiration? I tried the cert monitor, but after trying every setting, still get a configuration error. Is this possible? They are internal CA certs, but we have a max on how long they can be issued for, and tons of dev, prod instances, littered everywhere. Would be great to monitor select ones. Would need expiration, not validity.

I've tried to search for information about the actual data that is captured by the RUM monitor when embedded in a web page and I can't seem to find anything. Our security team wants to review all the data elements that are captured by the RUM monitor and transmitted to Site24x7, could someone provide that information? Also, how long is the data retained/stored at Site24x7's data centers?

Dont overwrite DisplayName when AWS Integration is enabled
Hi, when setting the Display-Name with -dn parameter, it gets overwritten when aws integration is enabled. This makes absolute no sense, because we have various Monitors, which are displayed with the AWS internal Name. Many Servers are build with AutoScalingGroups, so if there is a failure the Instance will be replaced by another. So even if we change the Monitor-Name manually, it will be replaced by the internal Name on next replacement. This behavior makes no sense, since the alarms now only show

We're using OctopusDeploy to release our software to various environments, and within the process we're querying the Site24x7 API to put servers in to maintenance mode so we're not alerted during releases. Once a successful release is finished, the last step of the process ends the maintenance object via the API.
