Custom email when Alarm is assigned to a Technician
Is there a way to customize the email notification when an Alarm is assigned to a Technician? Basically trying to avoid the notification going to the same DL and to the same mailbox folder which could have hundreds of alerts, with a risk of Technician missing the Alarm assignment.
Monitoring Canary Files
Has anyone been able to monitor canary files and automate server disconnect and shutdown in case of a change? I would like to have a monitor running to check a files contents every minute or 30 seconds and if the file can not be accessed or the content of the file has changes (i.e. ransomware) run an automation to disconnect the network ports and shut the server down. I have been trying to use the resource check for this, which is able to monitor the file. However, its tied to a full server. The

In the Monitor Group Performance Report (Report --> Monitor Group --> Performance Report) i am able to view the stats of Availability, Memory, CPU, Disk Usage for Server Reporting. How can I add additional Attributes to monitor (like Network utilization)?
Options not working in EC2 Instance monitor type even though Server Agent is installed on the instances
Couple issues or missing features in this regards. 1. Email alerts is not having Top processes using CPU or Memory - when checked with Site 24x7 support. The matrix used by this monitor is Ec2, even though the instance is having Site 24x7 server agent installed and is providing Memory / Disk info and all in portal in the same monitor. First this monitor was discovered with auto discovery from AWS. Then we installed agent and the monitors automatically merged. But the type remained EC2 Instance Monitor

VM when migrated to another ESxi Host is showing down
When a VM is moved to a different ESXi host, the VM monitoring status is showing down with an error as "VM does not exist". Both the ESxi host (old and new of the migrated VM) are active and with auto-discovery enabled. How can this be fixed?

Hi, I would be great if you could add the Poll Strategy & Value to additional (or all) threshold for the Windows Agent monitor type. The option to alert only after a certain time is missing from 'Context switches', 'Processor Interrupts', 'Disk Busy Percentage', 'Running Process Count Threshold', 'Processor Queue Length', for example. Which of course means even brief spikes in these values causes an alarm. Thanks

Hi Team, I would like to know if Site24x7 supports APM monitoring for Web Apps in Azure App Services. We are expecting of something like getting details of each transactions to the Web apps like its Function Execution flow and time consuming function, it's Database call and HTTP calls,etc.. Ability to subscribe to daily Status Page report in visual format
My leadership would like to subscribe to a daily summary of all applications monitored in site24x7 in the same format as our status page. Currently, subscriptions to the Status IQ page only send updates, and the leaders must go to the page to check daily. Is it possible to have a daily summary available in this format instead, as it would be clearer for non-engineers to read?

Numerous objects in my network are not single points of failure - DNS and Active Directory servers for example. I own the SLA of 99.5% for availability all things in the corporate network that allow for standard daily BAU and I have to report report on it. I am trying to use S247 to help me in that, but I don't seem to be able to create combined or aggregated reports on FUNCTION uptime i.e. on a GROUP rather than individual monitors IN that group. I want to know if DNS requests were able to be served
Availability Summary report shows incorrect Outage START TIME
Hello, We are seeing data inconsistencies for outage START TIME in availability Summary Report ( www.site24x7.com/api/reports/availability_summary?period=0). When we ran the Summary report at different time intervals after the outage, seeing different OUTAGE START TIME. We ran the report with following period constants - 0, 0 ,and 3. And Observed that last run gave the correct information. Please share ideas why is this happening. Thank you !

Hi, I have installed the PHP APM Agent . Agent is installed and running , but no data is appearing on the dashboard. When going through the logs of zpa installer , I encountered below line : enabling zpa module sh: 1: phpenmod: not found Due to which when I run this command : php -m | grep "zpa" , it returns nothing. We want to use the WEB PAGE SPEED to monitor a newspaper article page. We saw we can configure a threshold for the TOTAL IMAGES SIZE of the page a configure a % of variance. The problem is we need to monitor PER IMAGE size. Plugin error: output empty of not json format
I have written a plugin to monitor the number of files above a certain age in a particular folder based on the powershell template. When monitoring a single folder this plugin works as expected, however when I extend it to cover two folders Site 24x7 reports that the “output is empty or not in JSON format”. Hello. We have a web application that consist of many components. Lets say I have a webserver01 with sql cluster (sql01, sql02, sql03). I want to create a availability meter for customers to see. How should I configure out Site24x7 to handle these following cases: Case1: Webserver goes down and sql cluster is untouched (all green). Application is down and should decrease availability. Case2: sql01 goes down. Sql02, sql03 and webserver01 is up. Cluster health is yellow (cluster is not in ideal state)
Chrome complains about sameSite cookie produced by RUM

VMware ESXi login/logout events
Hi We use S24 Pollers to monitor our VMware estate, we have noticed that when trying to troubleshoot issues in the vSphere Client the hosts events are filled with user login/logout events every time its polled by S24. I've asked VMware support whether this can be disabled anywhere but its not an option. Is there anything you can look to change to stop the event from being generated?
