Hi, anyone tell me why a scheduled IT Automation only runs on one of the machines selected in the IT Automation? I select 5 machines and each time it just runs on one. I figured it would run on all of them? Thanks

Log and monitor HTTP
Are there any web monitors that can log a value and alert if it's high? So we have a web page that checks a background task and outputs XML of how long the background task is taking. We want it to alert above a certain value. Ideally get a history of the values returned saved also.
Data Collection In Monitors
If data collection (CPU, Memory utilization etc.,) is not happening in any server monitors then instead of checking every server manually, Is there any feature that we can get to know immediately that data is not collecting in that particular monitor ?
Applogs docker JSON
Hi, We are using Kubernetes / Docker to run some Java applications. We are logging our Java application output to stdout whic is being captured by Docker logs and then uploaded to applogs via the Site24x7 server monitor, again deployed using Kubernetes. One problem we have with this approach is that Java stack traces are multiline so get split into multiple log entries in Docker and because of that appear as multiple entries in Applogs making piecing back together a stack trace quite difficult. DNS Query Test for a host without defining DNS server
Is it possible to check the name resolution without specifying a DNS Server. Background is that we want to check the name resolution and we don't want to do check on a specific server because the provider changes sometimes the servers.

Subgroup Maintenance
Please can you add the ability to apply maintenance schedule to subgroups as i cannot see a way to do this currently.
EU Based customers not able to post feature request or VOTE
EU logins do not appear to be able to vote on feature requests or be named in posts. portal advises that this feature is not currently available and to post as a guest (doesnt give the vote up option)
The String "error" is present in the response.
I gets many email since some last days that : "The String "error" is present in the response.". Can anyone knows whats the reason? I have already seen the RCA: root cause analysis, but didnt get anything there.
Does the PHP APM Agent support catching PHP errors?
I've looked into this several times and haven't really found an answer yet. Maybe I'm doing something wrong. My main use case for the PHP APM agent (beyond monitoring performance) is to catch and alert if PHP raises a Warning or Error, or if it halts early due to an Uncaught exception. However in trying it out for several months on both a web server and a backend cli server I was never able to see it log a single one of these. It only seems to log the HTTP response code that the web server sends

We are missing more detailed monitoring for Microsoft 365 like sensors around the world to check the login performance... The wording should also be adjusted. Skype > Teams, Office 365 > Microsoft 365... In your O365 ManagerPlus you have a much more better monitoring tool implemented

Missing Slack notifications on UP
We've had a couple of situations where a Slack notification doesn't appear to be sent when an Alert clears. Has anyone else seen Slack notifications going missing? Is there any way to see a log of notifications that Site24x7 sends out?
Add time period 'Yesterday' for scheduled reports
The only way that there appears to be a way to use scheduled reports that reports a middnight to midnight availability report is to run the report at midnight. Why isnt there an option to specify a time period 'yesterday' on a scheduled report that can be run anytime the following day. we noticed an outage\issue where a scheduled report was not received (problems occurred at mid night). We could not then re-run the scheduled report to recieve the report. e.g. Monday availablity (00:00 till 23:59:59)
Please Sort the Dashboard Refresh Issues
We have noticed that dashboards are not refreshing correctly (even on section that show as LIVE views) Published public dashboards appear to work fine, but dashboards when logged into the site24x7 are not accurate and refresh correctly. Forcing a page refresh within the browser then shows correct status.

Centralized user management for all services
Hello, We've been a happy user of Site24x7 for years and would like to take advantage of other products like CloudSpend and Signal. However, it seems that there's no granular user management option available for different products. Ideally, we like to have a user groups different that our DevOps managing Signal. It seems that today, the only workaround is to sign up for a Signal account which created a whole new org for said user with no option for two orgs to be merged. Org: mycorp User A: Global

Is there a way to alert for volumes that are present on a Linux instance, but not used? As in: not mounted anywhere?
timeout value
Hi, From time to time, one of my Web monitors returns "Read time out." In the settings, I found only "Connection timeout" that is (as hint suggests) about the time required to establish a connection. In my case, I doubt this is about establishing a connection, but about a monitoring script takes some time to finish. What is the value for a "read timeout" and where it can be configured? Thank you.

IT Automation - Windows Service restart
Dears, I am trying to setup IT Automation for a Windows service restart. It successfully stops the service, but it wont start it. Not sure why, but I cannot login or attach a file. Pid file not properly handled
When a server is shutdown or powered down, and the site24x7 daemon does not close properly it will fail to start because there is a pid file still hanging around. On boot site24x7 should handle cleaning up any pid files so it can start cleanly.
Is it possible to monitor resource usage on Azure App Service Plan?
Part of our usage of Site 24x7 is to monitor the resources on our VMs (Memory, CPU and Disk Space). We have recently started using Azure App Services and would like to monitor the same resources as on the VMs, but on our App Service Plan. We installed the APM insight, but seems like these information are not part of it. Thanks, Marc
Exclude servers by host name
Hi, We recently enabled configuration rules to exclude disks. It's working really well and now we want to configure a rule to exclude servers whose hostname includes test or stg. But we couldn't find anything in the docs, nor in the configuration rules UI, on how to do it. Any suggestions or resources that I can refer to?
Webhook Integration - Trigger for servers in maintenance?
Hello, Using webhooks to trigger my web app to update its server status, currently it appears to only trigger when monitors are in "Critical" or "Trouble" states but not when they are in a "maintenance" state, is there no way of making this also trigger for that state? Cheers, Kris

iframe not loading
Real simple request, I wanted the BBC News in an iframe on the dashboard...but I get a crashed error page and it simple says "bbc.co.uk refused to connect" I started off trying to get another page, it's a custom iframe I built, but have rolled back to simply getting the BBC News to appear...but with no luck! Any pointers? I mentioned the custom iframe so I can make any changes to the html of the iframe holder (wallboard.html) if needed. Thanks in advance.
how to monitor response code "forbidden"
I try to monitor a site that in case of failure responds with "forbidden" In my monitor I have "Accepted HTTP status codes" set to 200. Currently I expect the monitor to show me a failure, as the server answers with a 403 which is not 200... But instead I get no monitoring at all and the message "configuration error: this url is forbidden". How do I configure a monitor for such a forbidden message? Thanks, Tim

Folder Monitoring : Count files
Hello, It would be great if in the "Checks" part of server monitor, if we could have a count file check. We used to have this functionnality in What's Up Gold and it miss us. In WUG we could set up something like that and it was great : We tried to use the directory size check to compensate for the lack of this functionnality in site24x7 but for some specific case it doesn't work.
Get Current Value of an attribute on a monitor through API?
Hello, So I'm creating a IT board which has a few graphs and other things, I managed to get the graph data over the last 24 hours pretty easily and plotted it. Beneath each graph I'm putting in the "Current Value" which at the moment is just the latest entry in the graph data (Graph Data's unit of time is Raw) so its not actually the current value. Viewing Alert logs overspecified time period
We would like to generate a report that shows the number of voice messages that have been generated over a time period e.g. 1 month The only place i can see this is visable to from the following screen www.site24x7.eu/app/client#/home/operations/alert-logs This will only display a days worth of alert data. Would it be possible to show alerts over a data range. This would be extremely useful to identify how many out of hours call outs have been generated over the course of a month.

Is there a way on your system to trigger a test alert? I just set up some new features on my phone and I want to see how it reacts to notifications from Site24x7.
