Resource Check failures should be configurable -- either Trouble *or* Down
Would it be possible to allow us to configure Resource Check failures so that they produce either Trouble *or* Down – depending on the choice of the user? At the moment, you only support Trouble for Resource Check failures. In our case, we have set up a Resource Check that is very critical to the server monitor – if the resource check fails, we definitely want the server monitor to indicate Down (not just Trouble). Thanks.
More detailed usage info
I asked about this via email but thought I'd also put it here so others can see it and note if it would also be useful for them. It would be nice to have a report that shows more detailed (last 12 months) RUM page hits so customers can track their usage should they need to plan for expansion or just tracking to see which check is using how many hits.
Sub-Grouping
Was thinking that being able to create sub-groups would be an awesome thing. I read another user's idea of creating dependencies. This could play into that as well and it will help with organization as well. For example, you can have a data center and then break it up into sub groups or you could have a group that classifies a service and then sub groups to the different things that make up that service. Example: sample.com Master Group --+--------------- + Databases Sub Group (db001, db002, db003,
BigPanda Integration
We were looking for Alert co-relation and found BigPanda and thought it would be great to have integration with this tool. https://bigpanda.io/
False alerts
In the past week we have been receiving false alerts intermittently on two different locations for our linux servers We had to disable the alerts The message we get is: Agent service node_x could not establish communication with the Server. Please check if there is a problem with the Network Communication. This could also happen if the Agent Service or the host itself is down. Is this a bug as when you check the server and services there are up and running for months It cant be a network issue either
API for bulk monitoring
HI , I am looking for API to import bulk monitoring .or can I use the same create monitor API for bulk monitoring .Basically I want to create multiple monitoring at the same time.
Disk I/O load monitoring
In the server monitoring we can monitor the load and the cpu usage. But when the the load or CPU usage are high, it is not always clear what the culprit is in case of high disk I/O. To be able to quickly see that the disk I/O is the problem I would like to see the different categories of CPU load Linux has (user, system, nice, iowait etc) stacked in the CPU graph. This way when I/O is the problem, the iowait percentage is high. For even better visibility of disk I/O load problems it would be great

Pause Rum Monitors
I want the ability to pause page reads for a RUM script..... pulling code from production servers is not easy. I would be nice to pause from the client side.
Extract response body and use it in following requests
Hello, What I am trying to achieve is retrieving the response body and use a variable to store this token. The goal is to use this token in the following request header for authorization. My response is not XML nor JSON but Mime Type: application/octet-stream. Is it possible to use an extractor or should I find an other way to do it? Best Regards,
status available for uptime in site24x7
Is there any possibility that I can see uptime of a particular website for a period of time.
APMInsight monitors going down for few users
We had a problem in one of the Database clusters. Services got affected for customers on that cluster. Time : Aug 26th, 8:16 pm - 8:20 pm (PDT), 8:23 pm - 8:58 pm (PDT). While majority of the customers were unaffected, few APMInsight customers who were on that cluster, would see their agents in down state. Reason : Since the user information was not accessible from the db server, the agents were marked as deleted. We have fixed and handled it in a different way and updated our build too. To get back
Monitor asynchronous SOAP web services
I've seen what is documented for the SOAP monitoring service that you offer but I don't see anything documented about asynchronous SOAP web services. The scenario is more complicated than a synchronous webservice requiring another endpoint to be available on site24x7's end which can be monitored for a technical acknowledgment type of request to come back from my site. Are you able to do something like this with your SOAP monitor?
Monitor groups sorting
On the monitor groups page, there is no way of sorting the groups so it can be a bit of a needle in the haystack when you have so many groups. We request for you to arrange the monitor groups and in fact all monitors in alphabetical order to make it easy to find monitors. It would also be better if there were hyperlink path so when in a monitor group, if i click on a monitor itself, and can navigate back to the group with one click. it would look something like this: Monitor Groups >>Test Monitor
Add Monitors to More than One Group
I'd like to be able to add an individual monitor to more than one group. For context, I'm using this service to monitor an entire hosting platform, and I'd like to be able to generate reports and dashboards based on various criteria for each monitor (i.e. different elements within our technology stack).

Translation glitch for nl-NL in Site24x7 UI
Hi, I spotted a small but annoying translation glitch in the UI of Site24x7. For our locale, (Dutch - nl-NL) the 'yes-no' sliders are incorrectly translated so they now read 'yes-number'. See attached screenshot from the 'monitors-form' page. Current translation (wrong!): Ja - Aant Corrected translation: Ja - Nee Hope you can fix this, Thanks, Otto.
Portal Integration - Status Pages Layout
Hello, What ever happened to the Status page layouts? We use to have an option to select formatting. Please see attached image. We still have previous reports showing it, but cannot create new reports with it as is no longer an option.
Track External Calls with Site24x7 APM Insight
Web applications of today have become more and more complicated. They not only interact frequently using internal calls (i.e., methods or functions that are executed within the application e.g.: framework classes like Struts or Spring) but also with external servers (i.e., servers that run on a different machine or port outside the application server) such as a MySQL database making them highly prone to lags and performance issues. So, dont you think it would be great if you could track these calls
notify specifc users on specific monitor groups
How do you set specific notifications to specific sets of users for specific monitors or monitor groups? I have a couple diff monitor groups and I need to only alert specific sub-sets of users on each group.
Clustered SQL Server Monitoring False Alarms
I have two physical nodes in an SQL cluster, if one server is primary the other one shows as down in the SQL service agent monitoring. Should that not smartly know that the instance is of the same name and bypass or show it as standby in the alert monitor.
Change threshold to allow for Reboots?
I have several servers that I allow to auto-reboot in the middle of the night for updates, etc. Some of them take +/- 10 minutes to reboot. It is NOT always at the same time. During that time, 24x7 throws me an alert every time for every server Is there a way to increase the allowed amount of downtime so that if a server is down for 10 minutes its ok, but if its down for over 15 I want the alert? Is this just changing polling frequency?
Java APM Cassandra 3.X support
The Java APM agent has support for query logging for the Cassandra 2.x driver. The 3.x driver has been out for a few months now. It would be great if the query logging is supported for the 3.x driver as well
Configuration profile for AWS monitor
Hi, we're using the AWS monitor to check our AWS cloud resources - this monitor installs child monitors for VMs and other AWS resources and I am talking about this parent. For our systems, it triggers about every 4-5 days a brief downtime followed immediately by up again within 2 minutes. There is never any real AWS downtime and AWS resources are always available to users, so this must be a network or intermittent issue. I can't seen to configure this (parent) AWS monitor. Is there a way to configure
Trouble Alert: The String "extra" is not present in the response

How to retrieve a monitorid?
We are automating our agent deploy to AWS instances. Each deploy re-provisions the instances. I'd like to update the monitors group etc when the new instance is provisioned, however this requires the monitorid. At this time I cant find an API that will return the monitorid so I can update it. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks, K
Web RUM not showing users in Turkey
21% of our user sessions are in Turkey, but the Web-RUM > Geographic tab shows zero users. The ISP tab does show some Turkish ISPs, so presumably data is coming through. Any idea why Turkey shows zero users? Also - sorting this table by "Page Views" sorts it alphabetically, eg: "8" is greater than "765". Thanks.
How do I save a response.
On my site monitor I see "Home Page is in Trouble" ... "The String ""Exception" "SQLException" "Error"" is present in the response" However when I look at the page it looks fine. I look at the page source and it doesn't contain any ot these strings. I try again and again and I never see any of them. So what I really want to do is ask the monitor to save a few of the responses so I can see what is going wrong. So I can see the error that the monitor sees. How can I do this? Jos
Log Report for Specific Date Range

Google Apps Monitoring
I notice the Office 365 has been added. Would be nice to have Google Apps added to the list of things that can be monitored in Site24x7.
When can we expect IPv6 Performance Monitoring in Site24x7?
As IPv6 is becoming the essential backbone protocol for next-generation networking, when can we expect this to be implemented and supported on Site24x7 to report the availability and performance of IPv6 enabled websites and web applications.
Show user on "Services and Processes" tab on the server monitor
Show the corresponding user on the "Services and Processes" tab on the server monitor, this is specially handy on Windows RDS Hosts (Terminal Servers), so you can see which user is running the process or service, same way it is shown on the Window's Task Manager.
New! Site24x7 adds IPv6 monitoring capability.
