Query - Why does network device availability based on resolved network name and not the device IP Address?
We have come to the conclusion that Site24x7 is using the resolved name of a device rather than ping as the basis of availability. When we have investigated, in some cases we have seen that the device has remained up yet the network device (usually snmp based monitors). We discovered this when we had an outage on a Domain Controller server at exactly the same time of the outages. Is this a known feature? Surely a ping test would be a better option to determine if a device is contactable.

Same Plugin on different servers -> Trouble with attributes
Hello Forum, I have a Problem with self written plugin. It is used to check free space on NFS mounts (no, the nfs.py that can be downloaded from the plugin site does not work). I deployed it on my test server and it gathers the shares that are mounted via NFS and returns 9 attributes with used blocks, free blocks, etc. So everything working as it should. When I now copy that plugin to the productive server that has around 20 NFS shares, I can only see the 9 attributes that I had on the test server!

VMware auto discover
It would be very helpful if we could specify during vCenter monitor build to be able to choose discovery options for both vCenter, esxi hosts and datastores. What we are finding is that if you allow discovery of esxi hosts it uses the default settings for the host and auto discovers VMs, datastores, datastore snapshots, resource pools and hardware. We have implemented a configuration rule as suggested to exclude VMs and resource pools from being discovered but there is no option for hardware or datastore

Total Uptime Reports
When creating reports for "last month", specifically for websites monitor groups, the "Total Uptime" isn't showing for the time period specified. For example, in the report I'm looking at, I set the time period for "Last Month" and its saying the "Total Uptime" is 119 days 17 hrs 16 mins. I need it to show the total uptime for the time specified so it should say 30 days. These are scheduled reports that are going out to specific groups who is requesting this. Is there anything that can be done?

Re-order Status Page components
Currently, I am unable to re-order the components on the Status Page. I would need to do this when making component groups appear consistent or re-prioritizing components. This means I potentially have to delete 20+ components and re-create them and possible re-establish their integrations.
