Monitor new Azure service types and resource groups

How will the newly added resource groups/service types, created in the Azure portal, be added for monitoring in the Site24x7 web client?

By default, the newly added service types/resource groups will be not added for monitoring. However, they will be listed in the Edit Azure Monitor page. To add them for monitoring, please follow the steps below:
  1. Log in to Site24x7 and go to Azure > Infrastructure Dashboard/Inventory Dashboard/Management Actions.
  2. Hover on the hamburger icon beside the page title and click on Edit.

  3. In the Edit Azure Monitor page, toggle Yes for the option Auto-add New Resource Groups for Monitoring (highlighted in red). To discover the new service/resource types, select them from the drop-down (highlighted in green).

  4. Save your changes.
During the next discovery (that takes place once every 30 minutes), the selected service types/resource groups will be added for monitoring.
