Site24x7 IP updates to customers

How does Site24x7 roll out IP updates to customers?

Once an IP location update in planned by Site24x7, we make sure our customers are kept informed via email and our community post. This information will be passed onto the customers at least a four days prior to the actual IP being made live. This is to ensure our customers are made aware of all the new IPs and further ease the IP whitelisting process. We also keep our monitoring locations web page updated with all the relevant changes.

What happens when a customer fails to whitelist an IP?
The best way to mitigate any issue regarding whitelisting is by resolving the domain "site24x7.enduserexp.com". This automates your IP whitelisting process.
Additionally at our end, whenever a new IP is added to a location and if a monitor is reported as DOWN from this location, we will re-check internally to test if the website is reported as DOWN from the newly added server or not (this is to check whether it's due to the whitelisting issue). If we identify that it is DOWN from the newly added server/IP, the monitor is then re-checked from an alternate server in the same location, before actually reporting it as DOWN. This additional check will be made available for seven days from the actual date of the IP location going live. This process will negate any false alerts in Site24x7 due to incorrect IP whitelisting of new Site24x7 locations.
