Change the polling frequency for server monitors

Can I change the polling frequency/interval of data collection for server monitors?

Yes, the polling frequency for data collection can be changed from a range of 1 min, 2 mins, 3 mins, 5 mins, 10 mins, 15 mins, 30 mins, 1 hour, 3 hours, 6 hours, 12 hours, to one day. This setting can be done in bulk for multiple monitors at once or for a single monitor. 
Note: This is supported from version 18.3.5 and above for Windows & 16.7.0 and above for Linux.

Please follow the below steps to change the setting for a single monitor:
  1. Log in to Site24x7 and go to Server > Server Monitor > Servers > click on the server monitor you want to edit. 
  2. Hover on the hamburger icon beside the monitor display name and click Edit
  3. From the drop-down beside Poll Interval , select the desired poll frequency for data collection.

  4. Save your changes. 
To change the setting in bulk , please follow the below steps:
  1. Log in to Site24x7 and go to Admin > Inventory Bulk Action. 
  2. Select Modify Check Frequency from the listing. 

  3. Choose the monitors for which you want to change the polling frequency. 

  4. Select the polling interval from a range of 1 min, 5 mins, 10 mins, 15 mins, 30 mins, 1 hour, 3 hours, 6 hours, 12 hours, and one day. 

  5. Save your changes. This will be reflected to all the selected monitors.
