Today when you create a permalink for a report, you need to specify the time period the reporting period, however our business users would like the ability to from the one page see multiple view of the data (same as you can do if you log in and view the availability summary page, the top has a bar where you can select your timeframe). This would allow us to expose a more generic report they can use to get multiple views, without having to train them and get them credentials to go into the site24x7
"This url is forbidden" error message when creating REST API Monitor
Hi, I'm in the process of setting up a REST API monitor as described on the page www.site24x7.com/help/admin/adding-a-monitor/rest-api-monitor.html. Our API uses OAuth so I also configured an OAuth provider and selected the provider in the dropdown list next to 'Provider Name'. When checking the OAuth provider I do see an access taken and a refresh token. However, when I save the monitor itself it keep on getting the error "This url is forbidden". I found a similar post in the Community on this (www.site24x7.com/community/monitoring-rest-api-with-bearer-token)
Adding automation template
Hi there, I am trying to add automation template to site24x7 for rebook type of automation. The host is not in the list, even I could see the host under the server section. Any insight on how to add to the hosts for reboot action execution is appreciated. Thanks, Biruk
Status Page Announcements to be posted on the RSS feed.
Would it be possible to have the text from announcements on a public status page to be added as an RSS update? This would make it really easy for users to be kept up to date on service issues and maintenance (Even if it were email related) At the moment, when making an announcement it does not update the feed. Notification in Teams Integration lacks information
Hi, We use the mobile version of Teams on our support phone. The Teams Integration for Site24x7 doesn't show any information when a "PROBLEM" or "DOWN"-notification for a server monitor is triggered. We can see a message, but the message doesn't show any content. Website monitoring does show message content. This happens on IPhone and Android. Recovery messages do show content, but waiting for those is not an option. This forces us to login to the site to view the server status. Is this a known issue?
Manage Maintenance Windows
Hello, Are there any solutions for the following problem? After scheduling a maintenance window in site24x7 I would like to be able to catch in my portal the create and edits of that scheduled maintenance..so for example if i schedule for 1h and figure out I need more time, to be able to extend the maintenance and show that in my portal. Executive Summary SLA Report Concern
Hi Support, When we setup the the SLA Report and configure the custom Benchmark Response Time the same get updated in the view but when the same reports is published it again show only the default Benchmark Value. It is not picking the custom value. This is impacting our report sharing with the end client. Can we get some help on the same. Alerting on Database Metrics
Hi there, I'd like to make a feature request. I was thinking it would be good if we can configure thresholds for alerting on database metrics. The transaction time would be the one of primary interest as it can give a indication of a wide range of underlying issues (deadlocks, hardware constraints etc.). Report showing cloud instances that don't have server agent deployed
There does not appear to get a report of EC2 instances within AWS for instance that do not have the server agent installed. For users that have multiple cloud accounts configured, you have to click into each account and into the appropriate compute instance tab to look down the list for the agent icon. A report that shows instances per account that don't have the agent installed would be very useful.
Allow Operators to Suspend/Resume Monitoring
Operators have the ability to create scheduled maintenance but that must have a defined end date. We would like Operators to be able to suspend and resume monitoring where a monitor will be offline for an unknown period.
Resource check
Hi, I've setup a resource check to monitor a text value of "RESET" in a .txt file. If the text exists the agent goes into trouble as expected. Why then does the trouble alert disappear a minute later obviously when the agent polls again. The text still exists and I don't want the alert to disappear until the text is gone. Log and monitor HTTP
Are there any web monitors that can log a value and alert if it's high? So we have a web page that checks a background task and outputs XML of how long the background task is taking. We want it to alert above a certain value. Ideally get a history of the values returned saved also.
Data Collection In Monitors
If data collection (CPU, Memory utilization etc.,) is not happening in any server monitors then instead of checking every server manually, Is there any feature that we can get to know immediately that data is not collecting in that particular monitor ?
Applogs docker JSON
Hi, We are using Kubernetes / Docker to run some Java applications. We are logging our Java application output to stdout whic is being captured by Docker logs and then uploaded to applogs via the Site24x7 server monitor, again deployed using Kubernetes. One problem we have with this approach is that Java stack traces are multiline so get split into multiple log entries in Docker and because of that appear as multiple entries in Applogs making piecing back together a stack trace quite difficult. Is it possible to check the name resolution without specifying a DNS Server. Background is that we want to check the name resolution and we don't want to do check on a specific server because the provider changes sometimes the servers.

EU Based customers not able to post feature request or VOTE
EU logins do not appear to be able to vote on feature requests or be named in posts. portal advises that this feature is not currently available and to post as a guest (doesnt give the vote up option)

Does the PHP APM Agent support catching PHP errors?
I've looked into this several times and haven't really found an answer yet. Maybe I'm doing something wrong. My main use case for the PHP APM agent (beyond monitoring performance) is to catch and alert if PHP raises a Warning or Error, or if it halts early due to an Uncaught exception. However in trying it out for several months on both a web server and a backend cli server I was never able to see it log a single one of these. It only seems to log the HTTP response code that the web server sends

Missing Slack notifications on UP
We've had a couple of situations where a Slack notification doesn't appear to be sent when an Alert clears. Has anyone else seen Slack notifications going missing? Is there any way to see a log of notifications that Site24x7 sends out?
Add time period 'Yesterday' for scheduled reports
The only way that there appears to be a way to use scheduled reports that reports a middnight to midnight availability report is to run the report at midnight. Why isnt there an option to specify a time period 'yesterday' on a scheduled report that can be run anytime the following day. we noticed an outage\issue where a scheduled report was not received (problems occurred at mid night). We could not then re-run the scheduled report to recieve the report. e.g. Monday availablity (00:00 till 23:59:59)
Please Sort the Dashboard Refresh Issues
We have noticed that dashboards are not refreshing correctly (even on section that show as LIVE views) Published public dashboards appear to work fine, but dashboards when logged into the site24x7 are not accurate and refresh correctly. Forcing a page refresh within the browser then shows correct status.

Centralized user management for all services
Hello, We've been a happy user of Site24x7 for years and would like to take advantage of other products like CloudSpend and Signal. However, it seems that there's no granular user management option available for different products. Ideally, we like to have a user groups different that our DevOps managing Signal. timeout value
Hi, From time to time, one of my Web monitors returns "Read time out." In the settings, I found only "Connection timeout" that is (as hint suggests) about the time required to establish a connection. In my case, I doubt this is about establishing a connection, but about a monitoring script takes some time to finish. What is the value for a "read timeout" and where it can be configured? Thank you.
