How Linux server monitoring agent works

Linux Server monitoring is an agent-based monitoring from the cloud. This agent needs to be downloaded and installed on every Linux server that needs to be monitored. The agent sends complete performance metrics every minute or five minutes to the Site24x7 data center, that can be viewed as performance charts in the Site24x7 web client.

Once the Linux agent is successfully installed, a monitor is created in the Site24x7 web client using the UUID, Instance ID (for AWS), or hostname.
