How to mark a monitor outage as UP after a scheduled maintenance window?
The polling mechanism of a monitor, pause during a
scheduled maintenance window and it causes the monitor to be in a
down status during this window. The maintenance period affects the overall availability, which is then reflected in the availability report. To avoid this scenario, you can customize your availability reports to treat monitors as "
Up" during the maintenance period.
Click here to know how. Even if you haven't customized this action prior to a maintenance, you can perform the same even after the maintenance period has ended. Follow the steps below:
- Log in to Site24x7.
- Click on any monitor that is in Down state.
- On the Monitor details page, click on the Outages tab.
- Click the hamburger
icon near the monitor and select Mark as Maintenance.
