Allows THREE levels of components on STATUS IQ status page - two is insufficient..
It would be really useful to be able to add just one more level to the component groups / component settings on the status page. I would like to be able to have (for example): *Corporate environment Offices Office 1 Office 2 Office 3 Teams Team #1 Team #2 team #3 * Customer Environment Customer 1 Feature 1 Feature 2 Feature 3 Customer 2 Feature 1 Feature 2 Feature 3 Ultimately 2 levels for components isn't sufficient (and ive used this page before with a different company, and it wasn't there either)
Prometheus Integration with Site24x7
We've heard you, and we're thrilled to announce that Prometheus has been integrated with Site24x7 Server Monitoring Agent. How does Prometheus work? Prometheus is a real-time metrics collection and monitoring system that scrapes data from the target applications, highly dynamic microservices, and infrastructure platforms using exporters. Prometheus exporters collect the metrics from the specified applications along with their respective timestamps. What is special about the Prometheus-integrated
Created a custom plugin, but Site24x7 isn't detecting any attributes
Hi everyone, so I created a custom python plugin to monitor an AWS Redis Cluster. It uses the redis python module to pull memory info from the cluster, and returns it. Now the plugin seems to be working correctly. I run it manually and get this: { "heartbeat_required": "true", "max_memory": 10527885773.0, "plugin_version": 1, "units": { "max_memory": "bytes", "used_memory": "bytes", "used_percentage": "%" }, "used_memory": 5729456.0, "used_percentage": 0.054421715086364855, "validation output": {
APM Insight > Java Agent -> Reports
As per steps I have added the APM for JAVA ( JBoss EAP 6) and how can we view the reports in the dashboard, and how to verify it.
How to add Windows server WebLogic server in monitoring
Hi, We have Window server where we have installed WebLogic and we want to add this WebLogic to site24x7 for monitoring. If I try to add this server for site24x7, it is telling us to install linux plugin, but we have Windows machine. Kindly advise me how to add this WebLogic for monitoring. This is Azure VM and already Azure VMs all are added in server monitoring. Windows agent is installed already.
Push notifications only for specific monitors
I have different notification profiles to alert in different ways depending on the importance of the monitor that fails. For example, non-critical servers are configured to alert me via email only. However... when those fail, the iOS mobile app will sound the alert even at 3AM when I really don't care to be waken up for a non-critical system. Is there a way to customize the mobile app push notifications according to the main website's notification schedules?
Change email address for notifications
Is there a way to change the email address used for email notifications for existing users? If the system that goes down is our own mail server (we manage our own email servers), then we would not be receiving those alert emails being sent to it (it just happened today... didn't think about this when setting up the system. I know we can add new users with a different email email (ex @mac.com), but it would be simpler if we can edit the email for the existing ones. Thanks, Roberto
Limiting number of times automation runs
I was wondering if we could limit the number of times an automated action is run, it reset of IIS/App pools in case of CPU/Memory usage. Don't want it to always be performing the action when breaching the threshold, just the first time time or only in X amount of minutes\hours so that the services isn't always being impacted. anybody knows if this is possible?
Site24x7 CloudSpend Product Roadmap 2021
Pandemic forced a lot of businesses to adopt digital transformation, in a rapid manner. Public clouds assisted this adoption but there was a need to drive efficient spending on IT. Organizations had to strike a balance between speed and spending in this adoption phase and required a third eye over their spending across the board. So far, we have concentrated on giving an in-depth visualization of the AWS spending, where one shall drill down to the cost of a resource and use the power of tags to achieve

S24x7 File Content Check
HI, I am currently implementing a File content check, the logic is to monitor a certain file with a file name example "timesync.txt". The content of the file is either FAILED or SUCCESS and if the content of the file is SUCCESS it should be displayed in the status as Available and if FAILED it should be unavailable. Kindly help us the configuration and how to setup. Thanks,
Site24x7 events
Currently, we're receiving Site24x7 events for TROUBLE, DOWN and UP. Would be nice to include MAINTENANCE events since not all MAINTENANCE events involve code upgrades, some are infrastructure upgrades.
Prometheus Metrics
Hello, in addition to StatsD metrics it would be cool if also a solution for prometheus exists. A site24x7 agent and/or plugin which pulls exporter node metrics. In a k8s cluster you often see prometheus endpoints. So this would be also helpful to gather such metrics directly from k8s. It should be possible to pull custom metrics from prometheus nodes exporter and export then directly into site24x7. Thanks and regards, Torsten

How Site24x7 automates your serverless workflows using the AWS Lambda function URL integration
AWS Lambda is a compute service that lets you run code on high-availability infrastructure without any server provisioning. You can perform tasks such as maintenance of servers and operating systems, capacity provisioning, automatic scaling, and code logging and monitoring. When using AWS Lambda, you are just responsible for your code. Lambda manages the resources needed to run your code, like CPU, network infrastructure, and memory. You can also leverage Lambda functions to integrate the solution

Add functionality to Terraform provider
Hello, We plan to use your Terraform provider (registry.terraform.io/providers/site24x7/site24x7/latest) to deploy a large number of monitors, however there are some limitations with the provider currently which prevent us from doing so. Could you please add functionality for the following: - Configuring 'Should contain HTTP Response Header(s)' in website_monitor and rest_api_monitor resources - Configuring tags in any resource configurable through the provider - Configuring 'Third-party Integrations'
Feature Request: StatusIQ and Zoho Analytics
Hello, can you provide an integration for StatusIQ data into Zoho Analytics? Then it is possible to create dashboards for SLA reporting over time. Thanks and regards, Torsten

Linux Server Monitor creates new monitor after reboot buit keeps old down monitor.
On a number of our Ubuntu 18.04 boxes the original monitor does not come back up after a reboot. Instead it creates a brand new monitor after rebooting and keeps the old down monitor. Since all the down monitors still exist our users justifiably think the servers never came back up. Anyone know why this might happen?

VMware ESXi Network Alerting - NIC down
Hello, We have come across some failed NIC's in our environment, unfortunately this wasn't picked up by S24x7 and i cannot see anyway of adding some additional monitoring to get this to trigger an alert. Would it be possible to get this feature added, so that when a NIC is down we receive an alert. Example of working host And a host with 2 failed NICs that are down VMware is seeing them as down and would be great for S24 to alert us
Enhancing the user experience with the idle timer
Welcome to the first blog in the Site24x7 engineering blog series. We're happy to share the experiments and methods our developers have successfully implemented to provide a better, safe, and interactive UI to our customers. Here's how the implementation of idle timer improved the user experience. The Site24x7 web client
SFTP with private key - Feature Request
As security is becoming more a concern, FTP services are now moving to SFTP with private key for authentication now and it would be great if Site24x7 had a way to allow for this type of authentication for the SFTP monitors.
Site24x7 sending bad requests
Hello, I have a very basic monitor to check the availability of a static web page. Occasionally I will see the page go down in Site24x7 but still be available. Looking at the NGINX logs I see these numerous requests coming from Site24x7 that look like the following: 10.26.41.124 - - [18/Mar/2022:18:04:35 -0700] "G" 400 0 "-" "-" "-" I was wondering if anyone has run across this issue and if so have any tips on debugging the system. I'm unsure whether this is a Site24x7 issue or something caused internally.
Zoho Desk Integration Yet?
According to 2020 roadmap (www.site24x7.com/community/site24x7-product-roadmap-2020) I see that more Zoho products are going to be integrated with Site24x7. Any updates on where Zoho Desk integration is at currently? What I would absolutely love to see, per my requirements, is in Site24x7 is having a custom field per monitor. We will call that custom field "OID" which would be short for the customer's Order ID, which is essentially a reference to a specific customer's service that we provide them

Please add Alerting through 3rd party tools for Applogs
We use VictorOps and currently there is no way to configure it to send alerts for AppLogs. Other monitors allow this. This is very important for us and I suspect others that are using 3rd Party alerting tools like OpsGenie, VictorOps, etc....
Citrix PVS server monitoring
Hi all, we are looking for a consistent way to onboard and monitor some Citrix PVS provisioning server to site24x7. Do we have something we can use / any procedure for officially supported monitoring? Thanks Michele.
MSI Install
I am looking to install the Windows agent on a Citrix XenApp PVS server image. Is there a syntax to install the agent but not have the service to start so the cloned/provisioned VM's will not need a registry edit afterward? Thanks Eric
SSL Certificate Expiry/ Validity Monitor for such certificates, which are not exposed via a public/ private secured endpoints, rather is used for internal service-to-service communication.
Hi Team, There are various scenarios, where our some of the applications/ products/ services use a specific client provided SSL keystores/ SSL certificates or a host specific certificate which is not exposed over any secured endpoint or via any specific protocols or methods directly in order to be able to extract the certificates to perform a SSL Certificate check including it's expiry, rather used in a specific way for service to service secured calls for internal authentication with signed SSL

ServiceNow intergration - Add 'monitoring' status
Hi There, It would be great if you could add another status to the 'Remotely manage incident in ServiceNow when the monitor's status changes to "UP" ' option in the ServiceNow integration to allow either a custom status, or add the status 'Monitoring'. This is so that an analyst is still alerted that there was an issue, and it has now been resolved, however, they review the incident before closing the ticket. Thanks, CS

Feature Request: VMware Monitoring - Importing Tags from vcenter
Hi, In vcenter we can assign tags for a virtual machine. It would be great if it is possible to import such tags from vcenter into site24x7 automatically and displayed in the vmware machine monitor as well. Either in the already existing tags line or as an extra information in the dashboard. But it should be searchable. Thanks and regards, Torsten PS: Unfortunately still posting as anonymous because EU customers can't login into the community.
Jenkins monitoring for DevOps
Jenkins is an open-source automation server that helps DevOps teams build, test, and deploy their projects automatically. When using Jenkins, it's important to ensure that Jenkins commits new changes to project builds, check if the triggered builds are successful or stalled in the queue, and make sure the jobs run on a schedule. To do all this, Jenkins needs to perform optimally without affecting daily production. Jenkins monitoring involves analyzing the trends of builds and the health status of
