I have searched this forum, googled the net, read the site24x7 guide on push notifications....but all to no avail.

The official guide from 2016 shows a somewhat different APP, than available in Google Play right now.

The issue is therefor simply described, as how to setup push notifications on android.

Maybe I have overlooked something and I will be happy to get nudged into the right direction.
