Is it possible to suspend a ping monitor and then have it automatically activate when a certain condition is met?

For example, I am monitoring a WAN 1 and WAN 2 with ping monitors. WAN 2 remains unavailable until WAN 1 goes down because it is a backup. I have WAN 2 suspended for now because there is no need to monitor it since it is not even on due to WAN 1 being up. I know it is possible to manually activate WAN 2 when WAN 1 goes down, but if WAN 1 goes down and I have no way to manually activate WAN 2 i'll be in trouble. Is there a way to make it so WAN 2 automatically activates monitoring again when WAN 1 goes down?
