Ability to only trigger alerts if threshold is broken for multiple intervals

Is it possible to add intervals to the alerting on the server agents. We do not need an alert every single time the threshold is met. We would prefer to have a -'consecutive alert' type threshold as well that the system will not generate message until the CPU stays above threshold for 3 intervals of 5 minutes?
