Website Monitor polling delay
Hi team, While creating a monitor, I select 'Check Frequency' = 1 min. But still it shows Raw data in intervals of 2-3 mins. Why is that so? Can we not get per-minute values of response metrics? Is there a delay in polling?

We have recently switched to the MSP plan after having been on a regular plan on Site24x7 for over a year. Network polling time
Hi Currently, all our network devices are showing as last polled 7 or 14 days ago which is no good. Is there something I need to change the config. The server monitors are polling fine with no issues. Regards Ian
Custom Dashboards
I was wondering when custom dashboards will support displaying the same metric (say CPU Percentage) from multiple servers in one single chart? As it works now from what I can tell, each server gets its own chart. So if I have 10 servers that I want to display the CPU percentage on a chart, I will get 10 charts instead of one chart with 10 data plots.
Any chance of an automation option to START/STOP EC2 instances based on time of day or day of week?
Hi This would be a really useful feature as we could automate shutdown and startup of instances using Site24x7 rather than having to build our own scripts and monitor them. I feel it would be fairly trivial as there are START/STOP automation triggers already in Site24x7 for other metrics. Paraic
Anti-virus exclusion
Hello Community, is there any best practice related to anti-virus when deploying agent on servers ? We have a strange behaviour here: whenever we deploy an agent on Windows Server 2008 R2, RAM consumption goes up. When we stop the agent, RAM comes back to normal. My first thought was excluding the Site24x7 agent's process and installation directory from the AV scan. Any idea about this ? Regards, P. Augras
Trigger notifications based on single exceptions being generated
Hi there, Sometimes in our environment we would have a single exception being generated. They occur periodically throughout the day but they prevent the customer from completing their transaction successfully. We would like that we could configure an email notification to be generated for each individual exception. Right now the notification comes if there are 5 consecutive exceptions, but I would like to be able to customize this so that I can bring that value down to 1 if I need to. If this feature

nagios plugin won't show in dashboard
Hello, I want to use nagios plugin. For sure, it is check_disk plugin. No Push notifications on android
I have searched this forum, googled the net, read the site24x7 guide on push notifications....but all to no avail. The official guide from 2016 shows a somewhat different APP, than available in Google Play right now. The issue is therefor simply described, as how to setup push notifications on android. Maybe I have overlooked something and I will be happy to get nudged into the right direction.

AWS SNS monitor
AWS SNS Topic threshold values operate "one-way" only. For example the "..is in Trouble" status is triggered in five minute polling interval just ok. But the "..is operating normally" status is never triggered back again! There are no buttons, tick boxes, drop down menus etc. in Site24x7 user interface to manage this? It seems to be only possible to trigger the alerts "one-way" with AWS SNS monitoring? Reason I ask this, because we do have Lambda DLQ feature implemented with AWS SNS, this means that
OAuth Client Credentials grant
Why the Client Credentials Grant in OAuth provider does not refresh the token automatically. With this grant type, the http response message includes the token and its expiration time. The token can be refreshed automatically before it's expiration time by calling the provider again with same client id, client secret etc. information provided already in the "registration" phase. Why the OAuth functionality calculate the expiration time, and renew the token automatically when using "Client credentials"

URL Check (local) delay 'Trouble' until multiple failures ?
We are using local URL checks (127.0.0.1/blah) to monitor individual web/appservers, but we don't want alerts to be triggered at the very first time this occurs. Can we delay such alert until a number consecutive of failures have occured ? I've tried setting the 'downtime notification delay' on the Server monitor to 'notify after 3 consecutive failures' , but this does not have any effect on the URL check monitoring. Am I missing something here, or does this functionality not yet exist ?
How to create alert for websites down over 1 hr
hi everyone Even though I have all our sites monitored, Id like to have an extra level of checks that alerts me if a website has been down for more than 1 hr. How can I create such an alert? modify existing thresholds or set this for every single website? thanks Paul
Trying to trigger maintenance via API
I have a set of Linux servers that run in AEDT timezone, but my Site24*7 account is in UTC timezone. These servers reboot for maintenance once a week via a cron job, just before running the cronjob I would want to schedule a maintenance by making an API call, but timezone is causing an issue. So if the server sends an API call at just before the cronjob, site 24*7 will take it as UTC time without converting. Is there a work around that you would suggest?
Current Month graphs in Dashboards...
Is there a way to fix the current month availability widget so it shows the data starting from the left side being day 1 and then filling toward the right as the month progresses? The way it currently is, makes it seem as if data is missing for the first part of the month if you only glance at it.
Monitoring SQL server
Due to the need to use specific SQL permissions, we are thinking about writing some SQL agent jobs that run a series of queries, compile that info and directly output the data in json format to a file. Is there a method for that json file to be directly ingested in to site 24x7? If not, would something as basic as writing a powershell script that reads the json file and spits it back out work?
Historical Access/Reports for APM Data - eg Average Response Times
Hi, It would be nice to be able to see an historical view of the apm data such as average response times, currently you can compare individual days but it would be nice to see a chart over a month for instance. The data is obviously available so this shouldn't be a major change. It would also be desirable to be able to export the data. Thanks, J

Hi, Is there a maven repository available for the apminsight-javaagent-api.jar file? I tried using the local repo method I found on https://devcenter.heroku.com/articles/local-maven-dependencies, but it isn't working with our multi-module project. What MPM modes are supported in Apache?
We noticed that when we changed the MPM module setting in apache from worker to either prefork or event the PHP app was down according to Site24x7. It looks like the Site24x7 PHP agent only supports the worker module. Is there a reason why only worker module is supported? If the other modules are supposed to work, what setting can I change in the portal or the conf file to make other MPM modules work?

Status Page Announcements
Looking through the API I see that we can create and update status pages, but I do not see anything that would allow to me make calls to add announcements. We are trying add announcements and updates to status pages withought having someone manually do it. Any suggestions? Connor

The metrics we get from your tool are completely different from the real life user experience. Issue with attribute name for a custom plugin
I'm having some issues creating a custom plugin. It appears that any spaces in an attribute name are getting removed when displayed in the web client. For example, using the VBScript example located here... https://www.site24x7.com/help/admin/adding-a-monitor/plugins/windows-custom-plugins.html#vb-script. If I change the "Age" attribute to "Age at hire", when displayed in the web UI it shows as "Ageathire". Is this by design?
Configuration Template - Services
I'm having issues with configuration templates. I have created a new template which I have added several windows services which are not in to auto monitor list, then associated with a Montior Group. When I either add a new or move an existing monitor into this group its not picking up the services I set in the configuration template. APM Java agent - about tracking errors
Hi all, I am monitoring my Java app using Site24*7. And I want to add some custom application information to tracking data(e.g. like adding internal transaction id and being able to see that data on monitor). But I could not find a way to do it on documents. Is there a way to add that info? Also when I use Spring's Controller Advice classes to handle exceptions, my exceptions are not monitored as errors so I can not get java traces for that errors. Is there a way to get trace of those exceptions
JSONPath expression failing
I have a REST API Monitor configured for a very simple API endpoint in my system, but the monitor is reporting that my JSONPath expression is failing. Delete monitor for server in autoscaling
Hi all, i'm planning to use server monitoring and docker monitoring in server created by autoscaling. It's clear how install and configure , but is not clear to me how delete servers when they are terminated or stopped. Office 365 monitoring - missing Skype data in the dashboard
Hello, I have the following issue with O365 monitoring. In the Skype tab, I have no information at all regarding Active Sessions and Active Conferences. No matter which timeframe, I have no information. In the Exchange tab, same thing for incoming/outgoing mail traffic. Concerning Mailboxes and Mail Groups, when I select the "This week" timeframe, nothing is displayed. I have data for "Last week" timeframe. Does anyone have an idea ? Which of the prerequisites is responsible for collecting the data?
Trouble setting resource checks with mounted volumes
Hi. Just want to know how can I monitor with resource checks the size of a mounted volume. I have an Exchange server and all my databases are mounted in disk D:\. If I create a resource check on D:\DB\AA-001-01 (being a mounted volume) for monitoring it size, it doesn't work. Thanks!

We've created a handful of domain expiration monitors - great stuff. One, however, refuses to work. 'monitorname has configuration error. Please check the configuration details. For Windows Server running on AWS, should register with the dynamic IP address generated by aws so that we can identify and monitor the instance by logging into the console of site-24*7.We should be able to configure DisplayName through Command line in windows same as we do in Linux.We hope you develop some salt support feature to manage that. Auckland NZ location down
Looks like the Auckland NZ location has been down for over 24hrs. The site24x7 test IP's are now all coming from AU despite NZ being selected for the monitors. Is there any update on this and if it will be back up? There was a similar issue last week on the 13th which saw the response time significantly increase due to the change in monitor location without any notification.
