Bulk action to auto-discover VMware resources

Bulk action to auto-discover VMware resources

You can enable autodiscovery to monitor all the VMware virtual machines (VMs), datastores, resource pools, and snapshots in bulk at the associated VMware ESX/ESXi host level. Simply choose Yes next to your preferred resources and select the VMware ESX/ESXi hosts for which you'd like to apply this preference.

This means that once discovered, all the selected resources associated with the selected VMware ESX/ESXi host will be automatically added for monitoring by Site24x7.
Each added monitor will cost a basic monitor's license.
To enable bulk discovery:
  1. Log in to your Site24x7 account.
  2. Go to Admin > Bulk Action > VMware Discovery Option.
  3. The default option is Yes. You can toggle to No if you don't want to discover and add a specific resource for monitoring.
  4. Select the associated VMware ESX/ESXi host monitors to which you'd like to apply the above preferences.
  5. Click Save.
