Alert settings to stay notified when a resource check fails
An alert is raised when a resource check fails and the monitor status is changed from Up to Trouble. This happens only if the Alert when a resource check fails option is set to Yes in the associated server threshold profile.
To set that option,
- Log in to Site24x7.
- Navigate to Server > Server Monitor > Servers > click on the server monitor.
- Hover on the hamburger icon beside the display name and click on Edit.
- In the Edit Server Monitor page, scroll down to the Threshold and Availability field and click on the pencil icon.
- In the Edit Threshold form, set the option Alert when resource check fails as Yes.
- Save your changes.
Note: The general Trouble alert can be configured by setting the 'Alert when a resource check fails' option as 'No' in the server monitor's threshold profile.
