Request creation modes for Site24x7 SDP On-Demand Integration

Request creation modes for Site24x7 ServiceDesk Plus On-Demand Integration

There are two modes of request for triggering Site24x7 alerts via SDP On-Demand:
  • Automatic
  • Manual
In the automatic request mode of request creation, which is the default selection, changes in the down/trouble status for all the Site24x7 monitors will be reflected in the SDP On-Demand portal. Once a down/trouble monitor bounces back to the Up status, the ticket will be closed automatically.

For the manual request mode, you will have to manually enable a request (Down/Trouble Monitor Dashboard > Create Request in SDP On-Demand) for the ticket to be created in the SDP On-Demand portal. You can also raise a ticket from the RCA tab. Once the monitor bounces back to the Up status, the ticket will be closed automatically and the user will have to manually enable the request the next time the monitor goes down.
Note: The option to create a request manually will be available only for Down/Trouble monitors

You can manually close a ticket from the monitor dashboard for both manual and automatic modes of request creation.
