Release deployment process in Site24x7

To ensure smooth and stable deployments in sensitive environments, Site24x7 follows a phased rollout approach, deploying the release to smaller batches of customers first before rolling it out to all users.

Release process

The release follows the below phase-oriented process:
  1. Initial phase release: Features are released, monitored, and, after a minimum of five working days, confirmed stable before being rolled out to all customers weekly.
  2. Final phase release: The release will reach the enterprise customers with dedicated grids 14 days after the first release. For these environments, updates will follow a two-week cycle to ensure maximum stability and reliability.
Notes
This phased release approach applies only to server updates and does not apply to agents or release notes.

Benefits of phased release

Rolling out the releases in batches helps us:
  1. Monitor stability and performance before wider deployment.
  2. Ensure sensitive areas receive the release only after validation.
