How to receive Microsoft365 Service Incidents and Advisories in alert emails?
This guide explains how to set up custom email notifications so you can receive Microsoft365 service incidents and advisories in alert emails.
Requirement
For any threshold breaches in your Microsoft365 setup, you will receive an alert. If you would like to get detailed information in your alert, like the incident details, follow the instructions provided on this page.
Prerequisites

A Site24x7 account with Admin privileges.

Access to Notification Profiles and Email Template settings.
Instructions

Sign in to your Site24x7 account.

Click Admin
> Configuration Profiles
> Email Template.

Click Add Template
in the Email Templates
window.

Specify the following details to add a Template:

Display Name: Provide a display name for your customized template.

Subject: Enter the subject of your customized template. The format should be $MONITORNAME is $STATUS where you can change the values of $MONITORNAME and $STATUS according to your requirement.

Content: Provide a customized message for the above specified template. You may key $ to fins all available tags. Use the keys $MICROSOFT365INCIDENTS
and $MICROSOFT365ADVISORIES
to receive the incidents and advisories respectively.

Navigate to Admin
> Configuration Profiles
> Notification Profile.

Select an existing notification profile or create a new profile for your Microsoft365 monitor.

In the Add Notification Profile
or Edit Notification Profile
window, select the email template created earlier.

Click Save.

Associate this notification profile with your Microsoft365 monitor in the Edit Microsoft365 Monitor
page.
You will receive the incidents and advisories, in the format used in the email template in your alerts triggered from your Microsoft365 monitor.
