Possible scenarios causing your POP Server's failure
A POP Server Monitor tests the ability of the POP3 server to accept incoming connections and respond with the correct code. In most cases, failure status is shown by your POP Server if:
- Failed to connect to the POP Server
- No response from the POP Server within the timeout set
- SSL version (if specified) not supported by the user's server
- Permission error (server behind firewall, Site24x7's IPs not whitelisted, etc.)
- DNS resolving errors
