Understanding the Monitor Groups licensing limitations in Site24x7

Monitor Group licensing limitations in Site24x7

Licensing limits for Monitor Groups and monitors within each group depend on your subscription plan. This document provides a breakdown of the licensing limitations for Monitor Groups and monitors per group in Site24x7.

Key licensing limitations

  1. Parent and sub-groups are both counted towards your monitor group limit.
  2. Default Monitor Group limit (for all packages except the Enterprise pack):
    1. Up to 500 Monitor Groups
  3. Enterprise pack limit:
    1. Up to 1,500 Monitor Groups(500 × 3)

Enterprise pack allocation

Enterprise users get an additional allowance based on the number of active monitors:
  1. Formula: 1,500 + (10% of total active monitors)

Example

If you have 50,000 active monitors:
  1. 10% of 50,000 = 5,000
So the total number of Monitor Groups allowed is 1,500 + 5,000 = 6,500
Note that this total includes both user-generated and system-generated Monitor Groups.

Monitors per group

Each Monitor Group can include:
  1. Up to 5,000 monitors (default limit for all plans)
