Monitor Group licensing limitations in Site24x7
Licensing limits for Monitor Groups and monitors within each group depend on your
subscription plan. This document provides a breakdown of the licensing limitations for
Monitor Groups and monitors per group in Site24x7.
Key licensing limitations
- Parent and sub-groups are both counted towards your monitor group limit.

- Default Monitor Group limit (for all packages except the Enterprise pack):

- Up to 500 Monitor Groups

- Enterprise pack limit:

- Up to 1,500 Monitor Groups(500 × 3)

Enterprise pack allocation
Enterprise users get an additional allowance based on the number of active monitors:
- Formula: 1,500 + (10% of total active monitors)

Example
If you have 50,000 active monitors:
- 10% of 50,000 = 5,000

So the total number of Monitor Groups allowed is 1,500 + 5,000 = 6,500
Note that this total includes both user-generated and system-generated Monitor Groups.
Monitors per group
Each Monitor Group can include:
- Up to 5,000 monitors (default limit for all plans)
