Is it possible to monitor Azure if I don't have the permission to the main subscription of my Azure account?
No, it is mandatory to have the below mentioned permissions to add the Azure resources for monitoring:
- Authenticate with the Site24x7 App: Microsoft account that has access to the Active Directory tenant and Owner role for the subscription that needs to be monitored.
- Authenticate with Custom App: Contributor/Reader role to the custom app created.
Note: Ensure you assign this role under the subscription that needs to be monitored.
Once the required access is granted, Site24x7 will auto-discover and add the resources for monitoring.
