Integration of Real User Monitoring (RUM) with Google Tag Manager (GTM)

Google Tag Manager (GTM) helps you quickly and easily update measurement codes and related code fragments (tags) on your website or mobile app. Once you've added a small piece of Tag Manager code to your project, you can safely and easily deploy analytics and measurement tag configurations.

Please follow the steps below to integrate RUM with GTM:
  1. Log in to your Google Tag Manager and click Add a new tag.

  2. Click inside the Tag configuration widget to select the tag type.

  3. Choose Custom HTML.

  4. Insert the Site24x7 RUM script into it.

  5. Scroll down to the Triggering widget and click inside it, then select All Pages as the trigger type.

  6. Click Save on the top right corner. A Rename Tag prompt will appear. If desired, rename and save the file.

  7. Click on the GTM ID, copy the GTM script, and paste it into your website.
