Create a service account JSON file

How to create a service account JSON file to authenticate Site24x7 for discovery of GCP resources?

To create a service account key, please follow the steps below:
  1. Log in to your GCP console and click on the hamburger icon at the top left corner.
  2. Hover on IAM & Admin > click on Service Accounts.

  3. Click on the : button beside the service account that needs to be monitored. Click Create Key.

  4. Select the Key Type as JSON and click Create.

The service account JSON file will be auto-downloaded and saved in your system. Upload this file in the Site24x7 web client to initiate resource discovery and monitoring.

Ensure your service account has sufficient permission(s) to enable Site24x7 GCP Monitoring. Learn more.
