Check if a perfmon counter is present

How to check if a perfmon counter is present?

Please follow the below steps:
  1. Open the server machine in which there is an issue
  2. Start > Run and then type perfmon
  3. In the perfmon window, expand Monitoring Tools under Performance and select Performance Monitor
  4. Now, click on the (+) icon (green colored)

  5. A new window containing the counters will appear. It will contain information like Processor, Processor information etc.

  6. Scroll the list box and check if the particular counter is present
    Eg:
  • "Web Service "
  • ".NET CLR Exceptions"
  • ".NET CLR LocksAndThreads"
  • "Process"
If that particular perfmon counter is not present, contact support@site24x7.com
