FAQs on Docker monitoring
- How is the license calculated for Docker containers?
Each Docker host will consume one host monitor license. The first 10 containers on each host are free. After that, every 10 additional containers require one host monitor license, i.e. 10 containers = 1 host monitor. - How many basic monitors will I consume if I have 110 containers running in my environment?
If you have 110 containers to be monitored,
1 Docker host + 10 free containers + 100 Containers = 1 + 10 host monitors = 11 host monitors. - Will my container monitors be removed from Site24x7 when they are deleted from my Docker environment?
The monitors will immediately get suspended in the Site24x7 client. Ensure to have the option Automatically Remove Terminated Containers under Container Termination Settings in the Edit Docker Monitor page to remove them permanently. - How to disable auto discovery of containers?
This can be done in bulk or by selecting them separately. - Can I disable alerts for my containers?
Yes, alerts can be suppressed for your Docker containers in bulk.
