FAQs related to monitoring your Office 365 services using Microsoft Graph APIs and Service Communication APIs
Why do I get the error message You cannot access this application during the authentication process?
To access the Microsoft reporting APIs, Site24x7 requires a consent from the Global Admin. So, login with a Global Admin Office 365 account and try the authentication process again.
Will you store my Global Admin account credentials?
No, we do not store the credentials and only get the access tokens by using Microsoft APIs to get performance data.
Why do I have to authenticate twice?
Site24x7 uses Reporting Graph APIs for accessing the Office 365 reports, and Microsoft Office Management APIs for accessing the Service Health Reports*. So, the permission sets and the access token APIs will be different. This is why we would require you to authenticate twice.
Do I need to install an agent to monitor the Office 365 servers?
No, this is agentless monitoring. Performance data is fetched using Windows Graph APIs and sent to the Site24x7 data center.
*Note: We have made Service Health Report optional, as they are expected to be included in Graph APIs in the future. For now, we need you to authenticate Site24x7 separately to retrieve the Service Health Reports.
