How to check if IPSLA is enabled on a network device

  1. From the machine in which your Site24x7 On-Premise Poller is installed, open the Command Prompt as an administrator (Windows) or the Terminal with root privileges (Linux).
  2. Go to the directory where the On-Premise Poller is installed.
  3. Navigate to the .../Site24x7OnPremisePoller/Networkplus/bin folder.
  4. Execute the MibBrowser.sh or MibBrowser.bat file.
  5. Provide the IP address of the host to connect. Then, navigate to File > Load MIB on the MIB browser. 
  6. This will direct you to the Site24x7OnPremisePoller/NetworkPlus/mibs folder where you can view an exhaustive list of all the MIB files provided by Site24x7.
  7. Select Cisco-RTTMON-MIB file and click Open.
  8. Navigate to ciscoMgmt > ciscoRttMonMIB > ciscoRttMonObjects > rttMonAppl
  9. Find the parameter rttMonApplProbeCapacity on the left side pane and get the value by clicking on Get SNMP variable on the navigation bar below the menu bar.
  10. If the value returned is 
    Value
    Implies
    Other than 0
    IPSLA is enabled on the device and the value is the maximum IPSLA that you can configure on the router.
    0
    No memory available on the device to configure a new IPSLA operation.
    Error
    Contact the device customer care, or check if your device supports IPSLA
