Please follow the steps below to enable desktop or mobile push notifications for HipChat messaging:

1. In the HipChat app, navigate to the Menu button on the top right corner of the page and select Room Notifications
    
   
2. Go to Default Settings
    
   
3. Select your preferred notification settings
