Difference between a website monitor and a SOAP Web Service monitor
Website monitor will support monitoring of any web application via POST, GET and HEAD methods of configuration. Learn more on the
performance metrics provided for a website monitor.
SOAP Web Service monitors , on the other hand, lets you to exclusively monitor the
SOAP applications. The '
GET Operations ' link in the web client (Admin > Inventory > Add Monitor > SOAP Web Service Monitor) will help you add the SOAP Web Service Monitor. The WSDL URL once given, will help you list out all the supported operations and the respective parameters.
Note: If a SOAP application is added as a website monitor, the user will have to specify all the parameters manually.
