Configuring your firewall to allow Site24x7 Windows Update Monitoring to connect to the Microsoft domains

To allow the Windows Server Update Services to connect to the Microsoft domains for Site24x7 Windows Updates monitoring, ensure that your Windows Server Update Services have access to ports like 80 and 443 on the following domains:

https://*.windowsupdate.microsoft.com

http://go.microsoft.com

https://*.update.microsoft.com

http://*.windowsupdate.com

https://download.microsoft.com

http://*.update.microsoft.com

http://*.download.windowsupdate.com

http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com

http://dl.delivery.mp.microsoft.com

https://dl.delivery.mp.microsoft.com

http://wustat.windows.com

http://ntservicepack.microsoft.com

http://*.windowsupdate.microsoft.com

 

As the IP addresses associated with the above domains are arbitrary, ensure that you do not use the IP address ranges.

Ensure that the first Windows Server Update Services server is able to access any URL within the enlisted domains.
