View the CPU and memory used by each process

Can I view the CPU and memory used by each process running in my server?

Yes, the CPU and memory used by each process in the server can be viewed to find out the root cause of the bottleneck and enable faster troubleshooting. Please follow the steps below:
  1. Log in to Site24x7 and go to Server > Server Monitor > Servers.
  2. Click on the server monitor for which you want to analyze the process CPU and memory usage.
  3. In the Summary tab, scroll down to the CPU Utilization and Memory Utilization graph.
  4. Hover on the CPU Utilization graph to view the CPU utilization and  the top five processes using CPU at that particular time period. Similarly, hover on the Memory Utilization graph to view the memory usage and the top five processes using memory at that particular time period.

This will help drill down to the high CPU and memory consuming processes quicker and resolve the issue instantly.
These charts can also be found under the CPU and Memory tabs respectively.
