Why are resources still monitored after I disable a subscription in my Azure monitor?

Unselecting or disabling a subscription in your Azure monitor configuration stops Site24x7 from discovering new resources under that subscription going forward. However, this action does not remove or suspend resources that were already added for monitoring under that subscription—those monitors remain active and continue to be monitored as before.

How to remove monitors associated with a specific subscription

If you want to stop monitoring the resources already added under a subscription, remove them using Bulk Action:

  1. Go to Admin > Inventory.
  2. Click Bulk Action and select either Suspend Monitors (to temporarily pause monitoring) or Delete Monitors (to remove them permanently).
  3. In the filter options, choose the appropriate Azure subscription and apply the filter.
  4. Review and validate the list of monitors shown, then proceed with the suspend or delete action.
Notes
Monitors removed this way are marked as user-deleted on our end. Even if you re-enable the subscription in your Azure monitor later, these resources will not be automatically re-accepted for monitoring—you will need to add them again if required.
