Site24x7 shows the status as Down while the Azure portal shows Up

Site24x7's Azure monitoring provides accurate metrics and alerts only when there is an impending issue. In this case, there could be a reason why the Resource Health check for that particular resource notified Site24x7 that the service is facing an issue.

You can view the reason for the service issue in the Resource Health section of the service type. Use the below steps to check the resource's health:

1. Log in to the Azure portal.
2. Search for your resource and select it.
3. In the left pane, under the Help category, click the Resource Health tab.

4. Under Health history, you can view the resource status and the reason for the issue, if there is one, which Site24x7 sent alerts for.

This status displays the resource health history for the last four weeks. For the records before that, follow the steps below:

  • Navigate to Activity log in the left pane.

  • Change the time span to your desired setting.

  • Click Add Filter > choose Event category from the drop-down, and select Resource Health from the listed event categories.

If there is no issue displayed here either, please contact our support team at support@site24x7.com
