Updating the Client Secret (Application Secret) value provided for Azure monitoring

To update the Client Secret value provided while adding an Azure monitor, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to Site24x7 and go to Azure > Service View.

  2. Hover over the hamburger icon at the top and click Edit. 

  3. On the Edit Azure Monitor page, click Update Client Secret Key (Application Secret Key).
      

  4. In the Update Client Secret Key (Application Secret Key) pop-up, provide a valid Client Secret value generated for the application, and click Save.         
      

  5. You can set the Client Secret Expiry by clicking on the calendar icon. Read this help page to know more.

Alert
 By default, the Client Secret Expiry is set to six months if no expiration date is specified. To ensure uninterrupted monitoring, set a specific expiry date so you receive alerts before the secret expires.
Your Client Secret Key is now updated.
