sometimes we have a CPU spike for a server. Or because of nightly batch jobs we see for a period of time a higher I/O or memory consumption.

To not always raise an alarm it would be nice if a blackout feature exists to specifiy scheduled or one time blackouts.

It should be possible to configure such blackouts for specific monitor, specific attributes (IO/, CPU...) or group of monitors.

Setting maintenance as an alternative to balckouts seems to not be helpful for us because it has impact of availability reports/statistics and the combination of StatusIQ.

Makes sense?
