We're thrilled to announce the general availability release of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure monitoring with Site24x7.

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is a comprehensive suite of integrated cloud services, offering everything from computing to storage to networking. It provides solutions for building, deploying, and managing workloads in the Oracle cloud, with a focus on security, performance, and scalability.

How does Site24x7 monitor the Oracle cloud?

Site24x7 delivers a comprehensive monitoring solution for OCI that integrates seamlessly with your cloud environment.

Site24x7 sends one or more requests to the cloud API of each resource to gather data every minute. By default, this data collection occurs every five minutes.
However, you can customize data collection frequency to match your specific needs. Site24x7 analyzes the data and presents it in user-desired reports or dashboard formats. If the user has set thresholds, Site24x7 checks whether the derived data corresponds to the configured threshold limit. If there is any breach, an alert is triggered.

Site24x7's OCI monitoring is done by creating policies which allows the Site24x7 tenancy to access your Oracle cloud tenancy. Site24x7 OCI monitoring creates policies that enable the Site24x7 tenancy to access your Oracle cloud tenancy. To discover the resources, you need to provide the Compartment ID.
