Hi Team,
We are currently monitoring infrastructure metrics for Google Cloud SQL via Site24x7. However, we have identified several important database-level monitoring features that are currently missing and would like to raise a feature request for the same.
Query-Level Monitoring
Visibility into long-running queries
Identification of slow or high-cost queries
Access to current running queries
Lock and Deadlock Tracking
Metrics for active locks and deadlocks
Information on blocked sessions and lock waits
Session Monitoring
Active session details
Connection pool usage by user or application
Query Execution Statistics
Query latency metrics
Execution time trends
Database Health Insights
Table/index bloat
Auto-vacuum activity (for PostgreSQL)
Index usage statistics
Log-Based Monitoring
Integration with database logs for errors, warnings, and slow queries
We request that these features be considered for future enhancement of Cloud SQL monitoring in Site24x7, as they are critical for performance troubleshooting and proactive database health management.
