Scheduled maintenance has evolved into a useful tool to plan and manage the routine maintenance of IT resources. We already support one-time maintenance and repeated maintenance viz., daily and weekly; now, we're excited to extend support for monthly maintenance.

With the all new scheduled monthly maintenance, you can create flexible maintenance windows for your monitors. You can either schedule maintenance window based on a specific date or a specific Nth weekday of the month.

In the add schedule maintenance form, select the frequency as "Monthly" and pick ?Set Recurrence":

2. By Day

Monthly recurrence By Date:

By specifying a predefined date & time of the month along with the duration of maintenance, you can quickly create a monthly maintenance window for your monitors. You?ve to only provide the "Start Time" of your maintenance by adding the date and time (as per your time zone settings in the format HH: MM) and the expected "Maintenance Duration" (in minutes). However, the maximum allowed value for maintenance duration is 1440 minutes (24 hours). In case you choose the date as 31st (which isn't available in all the calendar months); the maintenance window will be active for those months alone when there are 31 calendar days; the maintenance window will cease to exist during rest of the months.

Monthly recurrence By Day:

The maintenance window will be activated based on the chosen Nth weekday of the month. Let?s say you pick the value of Start Week as ?Fourth Saturday of every month.? Additionally, you?ve specified the "Start Time" (as per your time zone settings in the format HH: MM) and the expected ?Maintenance Duration" (in minutes). The maintenance window shall be active for the specified maintenance duration on the Fourth Saturday of every calendar month, irrespective of the date on that calendar day. Again, the maximum allowed value for maintenance duration is 1440 minutes (24 hours).
