[Enhancement] Configure threshold limits for network interfaces in threshold profiles
When it comes to network devices, we all know that configuring threshold profiles plays a vital role in device management since alerts received about breaches help network admins take timely corrective measures. Configuring threshold limits at the network interface level means you'll receive alerts for child-level attributes too. Site24x7 already supports threshold configuration for network interfaces from the Network Devices view in the web client, but you can now configure interface-level thresholds
Tip #14 : Debug performance issues by analyzing HTTP parameters
Sometimes, simple events like updating your application may contribute to your application slowing down. You'll make some changes and it appears to be functioning normally for you, but the application may not be working for others. In these situations, analyzing HTTP parameters would help you to identify the intensity of an issue, so you can determine whether this affects a particular set of users or everyone. HTTP parameters like user ID, resource ID, and URL ID will help you debug the issue. To
Print Selected Time Period When Exporting Dashboard
It would be nice if the time period that was selected to generate a dashboard is shown at the top of the PDF when you select to "Share" the dashboard to PDF. Since the major axis labels are severely limited on the horizontal axis when picking large date ranges -- like a month, the first and last date of the time period selected doesn't always seem to be shown on the charts.
Confusing calculation of MTBF and Total Uptime for group of monitors
When you run a report on one monitor for February, the times are correct. When you run a report on a group of monitors (e.g. two monitors) the time goes from 28 days to 56 days. This is not logical. February only had 28 days, not 56 so uptime should be 28 days if it was 100%, not 56 days. It seems that the logic for calculation of the times on groups of monitors is too simple and makes no sense if you have multiple monitors in a group. The time just gets multiplied by the number of monitors...
C# StackTrace with incorrect line number
Hello all, I currently running asp.net (C#) site with Site24x7 APM enabled. However, I notice that my stack trace of exception in my log is displaying incorrect line number. I'm suspecting that it's might be the APM causing this...Is there a way to fix this?
FR: Possibility to edit the IP address for a network device
Please add the possibility to edit the ip address after adding a network device into Site24x7. Thx!
Display Customer's Device Key on the Customers Accounts page on a MSP plan
It would be nice if a customer's Device Key was listed on the Customer Accounts page on a MSP plan. As far as I can tell, the only way to find the Device Key for a particular customer is to click on the specific Customer from the Customer Health View from the MSP dashboard. Then click to add a monitor, then click to "Add Server Monitor". I'm currently installing the agent for new customers using a powershell script, so I'm not going to the "Add Server Monitor" page each time to download the agent
Global Benchmark Report
How the Global Benchmark report is calculated and listed -->www.site24x7.com/benchmarks/Germany How do we add SAP with this list under site 24x7 global benchmark.
Traceroute Monitor
Wondering if anyone could create a traceroute monitor so we can monitor routes from different ISP's.
Mark outages as "No impact event"
Hello. I have been using Site24x7 since a year ago and it is an excellent tool. Speaking about outages, we have the option to mark as an outage event as "Maintenance" and that is useful so the SLAs are not affected by it. If you add another option that we could call by now "No impact event" we could mark outages that are not maintenance and that have no effect to the SLAs, so the availability indicator and SLAs indicators keep the same. An example of this could be when we have a primary and a second
Shorter more meaningful URLs for Dashboards.
Are there any plans to allow for more meaningful urls for dashboards instead of that long random generated URL? Something like https://www.site24x7.com/public/dashboard/<name_of_dashboard>
Wierd bulk action
Hello, i have this problem. I cannot assign user to only one monitor for alert, only the way is make new alert group add this server under this group and assign user to new alert group. Example: UserA need to monitor ServerA, but ServerA is already in group AlertA, in alert group AlertA are also another servers which i dont want to assign to UserA. So I need to ServerA assign to another alert group AlertB (which will exclusive for UserA). Cool i will edit monitor and add it to another alert group.
Maintenance Windows
Some of my VMs are scheduled to be down from (example) day 10 to day 25 of each month (for cost saving reasons). Setting up maintenance windows for this is really painful - I need to create one maintenance schedule for each day, and I can't clone existing schedules just to change the date part. Any chance we can get a more sophisticated date selection UI?
Interface Bandwidth
Hi there, Is it possible to apply threshold alerts for interface percentage utilization. Overall thresholds would be ok but by interface would be even better. The use case would be to monitor WAN links to be alerted if they become over subscribed. Thanks, Anderson
Enable Variables and Templates in the Dashboard
We would like to create a dashboard containing a lot of information from an instance, but there should be a selecion of the product I want to analyze, where it would update the information in the dashboard. Attached prin screen of another solution where is is possible to make such a configuration. We would like to do this on Site24x7.
Tip #13: View changes in your application response time without drilling for details
Imagine that you have just rolled out an update in your application and now want to check if that update has had any impact on your application performance. You can track the changes with Milestone Marker and observe the variation in response time in a graph. Or you can simply look into your application details in the RUM dashboard. Changes in response time are quantified by a red or green icon for active web apps in the dashboard. Red denotes an increase in response time while green denotes a decrease.
Websites: "Multiple Perf. Graphs in one chart" - Please vote and help me for this feature request
We need a possibility to compare the response time for three ore more websites in one graph on our status page. Currently there is only one graph for one website available. It's not possible to compare different websites in one chart. We need this feature to invastigate response time issues on our tomcat or webserver. We need this feature for our development team which will monitor the environment on the status page only. Please vote for this feature - thumbs up! :)
Support for Exchange Server 2016
Exchange Server was RTM in Oct 1, 2015, and Exchange Server 2016CU1 was released March 15, 2016 so I would have thought over 1 year after release it would be supported.
Detect disconnected VPN connection
Hi On one of my monitors I have a VPN connection that always needs to be online. In the Monitor Dashboard -> Network I can see the current status. But I want to be able to trigger an alarm if the Status is not Connected. Is that possile Regards, Calle
how to multiselect in Bulk action
When I want to do a bulk action there is a form select monitors I want to apply an action to. There is a filter box and there is "Select All" link there. If I type anything in the filter box, "Select All" is no longer visible. Thus I do not know how to select all monitors that match my filter. Any suggestions?
What new Reports would you like to see in Site24x7?
Up until now, we've got requests from fellow customers like you regarding our reports module. Some have been about getting group based graphical reports, others have asked for Top N uptime and downtime reports for websites. It would be great if we could hear your thoughts on the types of reports and charts that you would like to see within Site24x7. Please post your suggestions and add as much details as possible so that we understand the context. It would be great if you could post some screenshots
Cumulative Charts in APM
Hello, an option to create or configure cumulated Response-time and throughput-Charts for a monitor-group consisting of APM-Monitors would be great., because an APM-Application can consist of an application-cluster and so it would be great to see the performance of the cluster. Cheers Jens
APM Insight .NET agent - Do not disable TLS 1.0/1.1
Disabling TLS 1.0/1.1 renders the APM Insight .NET agent completely useless. We had to disable TLS 1.0/1.1 last week to adhere to our payment gateway provider's guidelines. It should have already been disabled, but the app developer forgot to mention it. Once TLS 1.0/1.1 are disabled, the APM Insight .NET agent no longer functions. The services starts and runs, but is unable to establish a connection - "(Could not create SSL/TLS secure channel). I worked with Site4x7 support this morning and there
Tip #12: Detect slowness in external components using Application Dependency Maps
Failure in one or more of your external components, such as your database, Memcache, or HTTP connections, can slow down your application's performance. With Application Dependency Maps, you can easily identify failed components and their metrics like average response time, failed request, total request, and throughput. Mapping all transactions with their respective components eliminates the need for searching. View the transactions involved in calling an external component by clicking the View Components

Debugging SSL Connection Errors for On-Premise Poller
I'm trying to use an On-Premise poller to check an internal webpage that uses SSL, but I get this message: "SSL Connection Error" I'm able to view this page just fine in all of my browsers. The SSL certificate is a chained one from Rapid-SSL, so it's not a self-signed certificate.
Tags: A smarter way to organize and manage monitors
Being organized is a critical aspect of IT infrastructure monitoring and management. Our Monitor Groups and Subgroups feature gave you the flexibility to group resources by a business application. With our recent launch of tags in Site24x7, you'll now be able to organize your resources by technology and other segments. So let's dive in and learn a bit more about tags, its features, and some basic tagging strategies. Tags, in detail Tags are unique labels that allow you to assign custom metadata to
You can now monitor your hosted message queues in Amazon Web Services with Site24x7
Good day folks, We're excited to add another important addition to our growing list of supported AWS integrations: Amazon Simple Queue Service (SQS) - a fully managed message queue service on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) platform. You can now collect the full range of performance metrics and inventory data for both your standard and FIFO queues; visualize usage using custom and system dashboards; configure customized thresholds; get alerted via integrated notification channels; and get complete
AWS Lambda monitoring - How to optimize function execution time and performance
Function as a service (FaaS) products like AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, and Google Cloud Functions have instigated a paradigm shift in the way Ops teams provision and manage their organization's infrastructure. With everyday administrative tasks like provisioning, patching, maintaining compliance, and configuring operating systems all being abstracted away, your Ops team only has one task to work on - writing world-class code. But going serverless has its share of challenges, especially when it comes

Please add feature for vert.x support too
Define separate recipients for trouble and down alert
Can we have an option to configure separate recipients for different monitor status?
Alert on individual step performance in a transaction
Please include a way to alert if a particular step within a transaction test is not performing. Currently, it is only possible to monitor the entire transaction as a whole.
Group support for MSP's
Right now, when we need to provide MSP level access to one of our engineers, we need to add him manually to all existing MSP Customer accounts. This is very tedious. We would like to be able to have group support for MSP's, where we can create groups, add MSP users to those groups, and provide access to MSP accounts based on those groups.
Trouble Email Alerts - Should Display the Graph data based on the location concern
Because it's useless to see the graph from the Primary location, if its not the concern or the one has an alert.
Tip #11: Exclude insignificant transactions from monitoring
Few transactions or extensions can be excluded from your application monitoring process. For instance, webpages with static content (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) can be safely excluded from your monitoring process. Similarly, multimedia files such as images and videos (JPG, PNG, GIF) need not be monitored. You can exclude those kinds of URLs from monitoring by providing their file extensions in APM Insight. That way, you can focus on monitoring crucial areas of your application instead.
assign alert group to monitor group
Hello, I have some questions about alerting. If i undestand well. There is only one way how to add monitor/server to alert group. Correct me if is it not right. 1. you have to create alert group 2. you have to assign server to the alert group. What i need is assing monitor group to alert group. Is it possible? From my point of view it is not possible. There is no such a option in monitor group setting. Another thing, How can i easily recognize which monitors are under alert group? Only option ive
Custom alerts for services.
Hi, Would it be possible to get alerts for services on server monitors to be sent to specific groups? We would have many services on a server that would be managed by different groups. Regards, Alan.
How to determine the version of the current server agent that is available and find release notes?
Without downloading the server agent and installing it on a computer to see what version appears in the monitor list in the web application, how would a person best determine the version of the current server agent that is available to be downloaded/installed from the site24x7. Would it be possible for you list the version number on the page "Add Server > Windows Server Monitor"? -- the page where the Device Key is shown and the agent is downloaded. Also, I cannot find release notes for each version
[New feature] Start monitoring your tabular performance counters with Network Monitoring
Site24x7 is happy to announce that our Network Monitoring just got better. We are all set to monitor SNMP tabular performance counters, so take a look at some use cases to understand tabular performance counters better. We've added a new tab specifically for tabular performance counters, where you can view all the tabular OIDs listed in tables. With this, you can get a unified view for all the tabular OIDs, for example, .1.3.6.1.4.1.3375.2.1.2.4.4.3.1.12 (Interface Collisions) and .1.3.6.1.4.1.3375.2.1.2.4.4.3.1.6
